Love this place. Essentially it's a walk round a big lake but it changes with the seasons and it always makes you feel like you have done some good exercise. it's clean and well kept and has a great coffee shop at the end of it. The car park charges, being one set price, are fine if you are coming for a longer stay or don't come often but if you are a regular or just want a quick walk at the end of the day it can be a bit annoying. A graduated scheme where you pay by the time would be fairer.

Very pleasant for weekday stopover. Well maintained easy walk of about two and a half miles round reservoir. Nice cafe and facilities. Car parking between three and five pounds seems pricey but there are no other charges

The park is massive and clean lots of places to sit and have BBQ ..its exotic ! Super clean nice placefor families and you can have privacy by choosing yo sit on one corner surrounded with beautiful long trees. Its also secure as you can drive your car inside to where you sit and play music there. Its also open 24hrs

My boys love it. There is a play area which is great for little ones and a three mile walk around the reservoir. Most of the walk is a good path but some is still to be done so good boots required if it is wet. Two bird hides on the walk round allow for some bird watching and plenty of space for picnics. If you go in to the top wood there is a great set of tunnels, balance walk and a slide. The cafe is a sensible price a good spot for a hot drink and a warm sausage roll after a winter walk All for £3 parking. How can you go wrong.

Lovely park with a 3 mile walk around the reservoir and wooded walks too. Quite a few people bbq here in the summer evenings. Good for dog walks. 4 stars as you have to pay to park at any time of the day or night.
