It's a great place for the kids to run off steam. Lots for them to play on. It has a lovely lake there too including boat rides for the kids and adults alike. Down side...not enough benches to sit on and don't use the filthy toilets!

Love Abington Park. Good open space close to the centre of the town. Good sized Children's play area on one side of the main road and always busy with families on a sunny day. The other side of the road is more park, tennis courts, coffee shop & museum.

Growing up I had weekly visits here in the summer. Hasn't changed too much in 20 odd years to be fair.
Beautiful park in the middle of town.
Please don't feed the ducks though, it ruins the water

The most beautiful park in Northampton. Great walks, good safe play area and a great place for a picnic. Best of all is the bandstand which comes to life in the summer with free music. Avoid the cafe though, it is a rip off.

Beautiful with plenty of space. Swings for kids. It has an interesting history and is good for flying drones
