Was served at the till by a lovely girl I believe she is called Alison I bought some crocs and we had a nice chat and was super friendly.

I recently visited your store to purchase school shoes. During my visit, I sought assistance from an employee named Nicole to find the right shoe size. Unfortunately, she wasn't able to assist me effectively and indicated that the size I was looking for was unavailable. Surprisingly, shortly thereafter, I located the exact size I had inquired about. When I shared this with Nicole, she explained that her relative inexperience contributed to the oversight and acknowledged her tone may have come across as impolite. I believe it's essential to highlight the significance of offering exemplary customer service, especially within a retail setting. Customers have a legitimate expectation to receive assistance and guidance when required. This not only enhances the shopping experience but also supports the successful sale of products. I trust that this incident will be considered constructively and that measures will be taken to ensure a more positive and helpful interaction with your staff moving forward. First time using DEICHMANN and it will be the last. Came in at roughly 2:30 in the afternoon on 11/11/23 and joined the short queue before a lady, whose name I unfortunately didn't catch, though no name was given when she started dealing with me either. I simply explained that I had an online order to collect however my girlfriend had ordered it so it wouldn't be my name on the package. The lady then gave me a sour look and said I needed to get a written and signed letter of permission from my girlfriend to colect the order. I asked what she meant as this is something I've never had to do previously, and as a retail worker myself this sort of policy is something I've never seen or heard of. After seeing my confusion, the lady serving just repeated herself in a condescending, bored tone twice over before just giving me a blank stare. As someone who works in clothing in retail I understand what good customer service is and it most certainly is not what I received in this store. I think that this situation is completely ridiculous quite frankly as I told her the details of the order and the name it was under, the size and the exact item and its not like I'm trying to take random people's orders. I will not be using this company again as the rude and condescending customer service and bizarre, backwards request that I get permission from my own girlfriend to pick up something she order for me in writing and signed is honestly absurd and stupid. Save yourself the hassle and shop elsewhere.

I visited on the 15/8/23, and I was serviced by Ashley, he was great and friendly, and when I was looking around with my boys he was helpful too. It's really great shop and got a lot of different verify of school and for everyone shoes and it's at affordable price. The only issue that made me feel not comfortable and the reason for 3 star because of that, some of the customer service representative at that time were not happy to assist and not friendly at all, specially some of them they look at u and stares at you as u r in to steal which it's not nice feeling when u r shopping with ur 3 boys and bought from them, I understand they have too be careful when it's busy but I think bit of security training how to look after the shop without letting the customer notice that would be better.
If any of the mangers are readings this I need you to get in touch with me ASAP please because your employees are absolutely ridiculous. I ordered shoes over a month ago and I’m yet to get them. They keep sending my shoes to wrong places despite me giving them the right location and also they keep writing down the wrong phone numbers so either give me my shoes or my £45!
Visited 6pm on the last Thursday in the summer holidays looking for school shoes. There was Still plenty of choice with lots of sizes available. The staff were extremely friendly and helpful. Thusbus the 2nd time I've used Deichmann for school shoes and it won't be the last. My daughter tried on several pairs before deciding on the ones she wanted. We did buy some in April, nothing wrong with the shoes, they just don't fit any more. Would definitely recommend for school shoes. We did look for trainers for PE but unfortunately they didn't have what she wanted in her size. The adults shoes and bags look great value too but I didn't purchase any of these.
Another great visit to Deichman. I was served yet again by the lovely Keira. This young lady always looks so presentable, always smiling and nothing is too much trouble. She has excellent product knowledge, an absolute credit to the store. I'm always guaranteed to find what I'm looking for in here.
