My favourite sporting goods store! Decathlon Stockport has a great selection of running gear and if running into your thing, the chances are they’ve got the sport you’re into. There is plenty of parking and the staff a friendly and knowledgable. You’ll be pleasantly surprised by the pricing too.
Went around 2.30pm shop not too busy, quite well stocked with sizes. Got what I needed and went to check out , no ques, member of staff very helpful as my payment was partly voucher. Very quick and easy. Happy customer.
Great place, but I've mainly used it for camping gear! This view taken from about 35,000 ft on the decent into Manchester Airport.
I come to decathlon regularly and usually have no issues, untill recently, I have had to return a couple of items that were faulty clothing and on another occasion attempted to get help for the inflatable bed sizing as the labels didn't match the product, after seeking help from a customer advisor I was still left with the wrong size and had to return again to change it. Other than this, decathlon has a really good selection of clothing and sports/camping equipment etc it's a one stop shop just make sure you double check item before you buy
Helpful staff, good attitude. Very low on stock of snorkel fins which I find surprising as people go on winter holidays and snorkel. Was told stock was low due to it being a summer product ???????
I was looking for a specific pair of walking boots, but couldn't find them. Anna came to help me, and couldn't do enough to help. Eventually, she even found the exact pair I was looking for - a considerable achievement! Thank you Anna.
There are not many sporting items that you cannot buy in Decathlon. Good quality and reasonable prices. Staff are very helpful and friendly.
Love decathlon, most of their own brand gear is almost as good as branded stuff. The bonus is you can have several of theirs for the price of branded goods which means VFM
We went into the store in April for trainers and ended up walking out of the store with two folding bikes and other accessories spending over £500. Although we really like the bikes I was having some issues with mine, so in beginning June I took mine in to be looked at. The guy at the repair shop was really rude, when my husband pointed out we were the customer he said he didn't care who we were. I had a fall as I didn't see the bike stand on the floor at the counter and fell over it really hurting myself. The guy at the counter showed absolutely no concern, nobody offered to help me up off the floor. I was crying and in absolute agony with my wrist and knees my husband helped me up and I could see other staff looking but nobody showed any concern. We went to the toilets and I stopped outside crying. Again staff walked passed to go into the back but nobody asked if I was OK. I came out in lots of bruises to my knees and still in pain even though it happened 2 weeks ago. I can't put any pressure on my left knee. I had to go back to collect my bike about 4 days after the accident, I showed my injuries to the manager. I have had no apology for the rude service from the guy who served us , nobody was in touch to see if I was OK. I feel like they were happy to take our money but the after care just isn't there. Although the manager said the service we received and the accident I had was going to be looked into, I can't help feeling like it's been brushed under the carpet.
We would like to thank Kim for her advice and being so helpful. Her knowledge was wonderful and lead to us purchasing with full confidence of knowing we will be successful using our full face snorkel maskes
