Sweet and sour shopping experience... Not many interesting brands in home products or women's wear, but their sales are good for getting a bargain. I buy there Mac cosmetics and handful of brands not made in China, that have a nice fabric. Personnel is not very helpful and they seem unmotivated. Restaurant on the top floor needs some revamping. Worth's a visit, though.

This is my honest opinion. I used to love Debenhams, it was always a classy store with good quality clothes. Now everywhere looks worn out and looks like it could do with brightening up. The lifts are small and pretty cronky and quite a squash for wheelchair and electric mobility scooters. There certainly aren't enough staff on the floors although they are nice enough. The food hall is packed with more tables and chairs than the last time I visited. Not impressed with Debenhams at all..

Went to click and collect and the women at the till was really unhelpful. I asked for a bag as I was given a number of small bags and boxes. Said I had to pay for a bag, fine I've no cash but can pay on my card if I must. Put everything in a bag and then said she can't take cash or payments at her till and I had to join the BIG queue to pay the 5p for the bag... Yeah really helpful and thanks for the common sense.

You can be lost for choice with multiple brands under one roof. Totally love Debenhams during the holidays especially the perfume section. The discounts are so welcome.
