Wonderful place. Home of the black swan. Easy to reach but car, bus or train. Plenty of cafes, pubs and shops with a nice beach.
Beautiful town to visit, especially in the height of summer, and I can easily recommend doing a walk along the sea wall from Teignmouth to Dawlish Warren.nVery convenient to travel to with direct trains from London in 2h30.
This is one of my favourite stations, right on the sea wall, beautiful views, lovely station with traditional styling, very well maintained and kept and kind staff who are happy to assist. It's now step free access as well. Lots of GWR services as well so very easy to get too. Toilets as well.
The people in Dawlish are working very hard in keeping the place stunning.
Worth a visit. Lovely tranquil area. Easy to get to via public transport or car. Lovely beaches in the area. Good independent shops and don't just look at the ones on the strand there others if you venture past the strand church.
