This was a superb station for both arrival and departure, with appropriately sized platforms for the various train services! The structure is well maintained and the walls beside the greenery are really nice, departure boards are kept up to date too. Stairs make for ease of access in navigating out and the photos on the wall provide an insight into Exeter's beauty, cleanliness was enforced too!
This wonderful station in the heart of Exeter’s cultural quarter is worth the change of trains at Exeter SD. Fabulous coffee shops have sprung up either side in the last couple of years now that the theatre, museum gallery and library writers’workshops are running again.
Andrew or Andy I think he is called was absolutely brilliant tonight regarding my partner who became poorly on the train. He went above and beyond... Thank you so much for your support and help today... I hope you see this.
I fell poorly on the train to Exmouth and I had to get off at Exeter Central the staff were absolutely lovely and cared and supported me until paramedics arrived to my aid. I can’t thank them enough for the care and support they provide me and my son.. thank you so much you really went above and beyond. So very grateful.
This is s small inner city station , it is well located for shopping in Exeter . It is a well lite and spacious station with extra large platforms. There are lifts for easy access and the staff are helpful and friendly , there are vending machines with snacks. The station is well maintained and very clean.
