Having to bid farewell to my wife's perfect car wasn't easy but at least dealing with David James Limited was seamless. Friendly, professional and hassle free. We tired car buying sites which were offering too little then we decided begrudgingly to list it on Auto Trader we didn't want the hassle of selling privately but had to give it a go. Im glad we did David found us and called to offer a fair price, he walked us through the process and it really couldn't have been easier all done on the phone with a few pictures shared back and fourth via Watsapp no change on offer and was true to his word, the car was collected the next day with all the finance and funds paid off! I initially had had an advert up on Autotrader to sell my car, and was not keen on the idea of a trade sale. However, dealing with Kylan at David James changed my mind on the idea and I wouldn't do it any other way in the future! I think it's a real challenge to sell a £20k+ car privately as you lack all the assurances a dealer can provide warranty, finance, security of purchase etc so it does make sense to go this way. My concern was getting less than I wanted for the car, which whilst the sale price was under what I would have made privately for obvious reasons, it was still a price I was happy with and I genuinely don't know if I would have been able to sell privately. The process was really easy and Kylan was up front and communicative throughout. He didn't try and haggle over things I pointed out and was fair with everything. John, from the company they use to do car collection, was also a genuinely nice bloke and also a pleasure to deal with. All around it was a pleasure to deal with Kylan and he changed my mind on dealing with the trade! If you're trying to sell a car above £15k and struggling, I would highly recommend David James!
I was recommended to sell my car to David James after my partner had a fantastic experience himself. Let me tell you I do not regret a thing! Letting go of my absolute pride and joy Golf R was not easy. However down grading to another car and getting a sports bike is worth it. David himself dealt with me first and he was very friendly and very fair with the price for my car. I was offered considerably more than I would of got elsewhere. Once we had agreed on a price, a date was arranged for collection and the deal was done. I really like the simplicity and transparency of dealing with this company. Kylan who came to collect the car had the best customer service you could ever ask for. The funds were transferred instantly without hassle which is also a bonus. David from David James Ltd. contacted me after seeing an advert on AutoTrader for the sale of my Audi S3. A very fair price was offered which was not comparable to that made by other dealers. From agreeing a price to collecting the car David has been easily contactable and open and honest throughout the process and did everything he could to settle any nerves around outstanding finance payments being made on my behalf.
