Andrew in charge, Grown tired of picking the car up with missing bits and the out and out lies in exchange for hefty priced bits of paper. Ebay tow eye cover, which like other bits you LOSE.. photo attached albeit wrong colour see photo .. which you owe me for! Plus the one you lost, rebought and sprayed the wrong colour. Returned car to me covered in paint dust. Bumper paint job very poor in close inspection. Don't tell me you sent this bit of plastic to me recorded delivery. Complete lie. Lord knows what else you've left out down the years. You tell me a jobs finished and you're waiting on the resprayed wheels. I ring a couple of days later and member of your staff tells me it hasn't been started yet. You take me for a mug. Then you expect me to pay for a taxi to come to you to collect a part you forgot to put back You've now lost my long enduring custom on two cars. Since then, I have had the car serviced elsewhere.. despite a supposed brake fluid change at the last DARCARS service in 2022, it badly needed replacing in the red for contaminents. Car is barely driven, so it wasn't done by you. Were sparkplugs replaced when I was told they were .. etc. etc? I somehow think not. AVOID DARCARS.
Powersteering issue fixed without fuss on my Subaru Forester STI japanese import for a very honest price despite the specificity of the part. Dar Cars have exceptional expertise and I have never been disappointed with the work here. Great location and clever people who know how to commicate and solve problems that other garages can't or won't. Cannot recommend them enough.
I have been coming to Dar Cars for several years now. Andrew is always willing to help and provides a really good, reliable, and, really importantly, trustworthy service. My go to shop. Everything from MOT, body spray to bespoke Porsche servicing. Also one of the few places that actually fix stuff without replacing half of the car as dealers do nowadays
Great service. My car developed a 'Service engine now' warning after paying for a service at a chain of auto-centres that will remain nameless - they were also unable to identify and fix the issue. Spoke to Andrew at 6pm and had the car booked in first thing the following morning. Issue was identified and most importantly fixed! With photos and videos to help me reclaim expenses from previous service. Would certainly recommend Darcars and will certainly be using again.

Surprised to see this place has got so many good reviews... My MOT failed and I was quoted £98.50 for a "1-hour inspection" to TAKE A LOOK at the issues, not even including any fixes. Luckily I went back to my old garage and they fixed everything and even did an extra job of replacing one of the belts all for a total of £84. If I had stuck to this place, I would have had to pay £98.50 + the cost of supplies and labour and whatever else random charge they decided to add on. I'm never coming back here. Avoid if you want to be overcharged and taken advantage of.
Very happy with my recent visit. Took my 2014 BMW to these guys and much preferred the service and cost compared to a BMW dealership. Got a full service and MOT - car was cleaned inside out for free too! I've taken my past cars here too, so no issues from me. Keep up the good work guys!
I have always been completely satisfied with the service here. I've been taking my car here for the past 10 years. I am always fully informed about work that needs to be carried out on my car. I feel that they are good value for money and have always been pleased with the work that is carried out. Would 100% recommend.
Friendly, professional and trustworthy that's Andrew, Dan and Stefan. Saved me a sizable amount of time and money over the years and given a consistent high level of diagnosis and service. They're a credit to the trade. I wouldn't take my car anywhere else. I have total peace of mind with no unpleasant surprises
