Went walking with my daughter and loved the place. A hidden gem in the heart of Motherwell

Really lovely place - very much a hidden gem in Motherwell. Great dog walking, could easily spend a few hours here. I walked for 1.5 hours non stop and still never seen everything!

One of the most beautiful and tranquil places for a walk (or run, or cycle) in and around Lanarkshire. So much history, so many hidden nooks and crannies. You can also walk from here onto the Clyde walkway. Also just along from Dalzell is the old Saint Michael's Graveyard which is a local gem, almost unheard of by outsiders.
