Although the staff are welcoming, the reason you have gym membership is to use the equipment. The rowing machines - foot straps are often broken meaning that they can't be used, the only water machine (!) was broken for over a month earlier this year, the equipment is very rarely updated, the gym smells bad on most days, there have been instances of items being stolen from the lockers being broken into and no wi-if. There is just a lack of funding and a lack of will for things to be fixed.

Hate this Gym, i wanted to cancel my subscription of £499 and they didn't let me have it back. i think the rules and reg for Gym membership is unfair and cruel. Never will give a penny to this place again.

I really thought that after DW took over from Kassam things would improve but no. I've come in today to find the water fountain isn't working in the gym. This is on top of the pool, spa pool, sauna, showers & steam room being out of order on a regular basis & the air con hasn't worked in over a year. They have a portable unit but that's it. The spa pool doesn't get hot anymore so no point using it. My other half tells me a lot of the doors in the men's changing room have broken off. The gym has joining offers constantly. They should be giving their existing members money off for putting up with all the problems!

Overall, I am very happy with the service provided by DW Fitness. The members of staff are always very professional and friendly to speak to. The facilities are brilliant. But unfortunately, when the facilities are broken, it takes them a long time to get fixed. In addition, it would be useful if members had access to a timetable for the use of the swimming pool, as there seems to be an increase in kids swimming lessons, and personally I would prefer to avoid these times. The reason for the reduction by one star, is due to the swimming lessons. As the children don't seem to be watched by their parents or the parents decide to sit in the changing room and have their weekly catch up, instead of doing it in the cafe area. Which isn't nice for members because (1) it takes up space and (2) there isn't any privacy.

Been ones . Looks not nice. Staff old, many staff doesn't work sauna was not work as well.
