Used the hotel’s spa facilities for a friends hen party. I must say, I wasn’t impressed. The therapist was lovely and did an amazing massage however, I was put in a room without a shower (even though my treatment required me to have one half way through due to a scrub) and I was then made to walk back to the changing rooms to shower before going back and having my treatment finished. It didn’t make the experience very relaxing.
The cleanliness of the facilities were not great at all. The changing rooms and pool area had rubbish everywhere. The steam room- I did not want to take my flip flops off! There were towels all over the floor and sanitary wear in the ladies toilets. It was really disappointing. 
I would not recommend the spa.

Excellent hotel. Staff are friendly, welcoming and are happy to help. Rooms are spacious and clean. The food is very nice. Highly recommended

Hotel side of things is great, all the staff were very friendly (even sorting out taxis for us) good plentiful buffet lunch and breakfast, dinner was excellent. Rooms are spacious, clean and comfortable - smaller rooms could do with a fridge, we also had a VIQ room which was great but the shower head needed fixing as it was spraying everywhere. 
Unfortunately the spa side was a bit of a let down - we arrived to find only 3 of 7 hour bookings were on the system so none of us got an hour treatment, one of the party ended up with products instead of any treatments. Considering we’d paid it all 6 weeks in advance it wasn’t great- staff were clearly stressed so the atmosphere wasn’t relaxing - it took a while for an apology but then they did provide free tea and brownies and a bottle of prosecco with dinner. Treatments we did have were ‘OK’...not enough space round the pool either so didn’t feel spa-like to be honest. This side of things needs investment!

Where to start? First of all the room (which is a standard double) is amazingly comfortable. It is a good size and unique unusually there are two comfortable chairs and plenty of room for them. The bathroom has a really good size shower enclosure as well as a full sized bath, and it still feels roomy. The shower is really powerful too. The food here has been excellent. Piping hot and very well cooked. As others have mentioned, the staff are all lovely. The WiFi has good coverage all over the hotel and the speed when I was there was a very good 10-11 Meg both download and upload. The only bad thing I can think of is the price of soft drinks. Overall, a very nicely run hotel.

This is a really good hotel to stay in if visiting Oxford. The rooms are clean and spacious and the staff are very friendly and accommodating. The food is really nice. The attached spa is really good, we always have a treatment when we stay. This was the sixth time we have stayed here and will definitely stay again when we return to Oxford. Hight recommended. The photos are of the suite we had.
