I bought a bike from Cycle King online and was pretty convinced it was too small when I collected it. I took it home and it just didn’t feel right, so called the next day and the staff were really helpful. Wish I’d taken a name, but I was helped by a guy with tattoos and he was brilliant. Helped me swap it over for a bigger bike. He was professional, but came across friendly and didn’t make me feel like a donut at any point. Will definitely go back for anything else bike related that I need.
Great service when going to buy my daughters bike for her 6th birthday. Staff very helpful and knowledgeable would recommend.
Called ahead quite late in the day to say I was on way and in need of repairs. They was more than happy to help repair my daughters bike. Josh serviced her bike…brakes were amazing and gave new handle grips..if anything should ever need a repair this will be the place we will return to. Thank you guys
I cycled away happy! I've just collected a new road bike. Thank you to Jed, and Cycle King for building it for me. The bike is low cost and Jed helped to add good value parts to make it more suitable for my endurance cycling event. Jed set up the bike, and gave me help and advice for how to ride the new bike, handlebars and pedals, that is set up differently to my old bike. Low cost, and an excellent experience overall - I will definitely come back for servicing, as well as upgrades when I get more into cycling. Cycle King has also replaced the worn out tyres on my son's bicycle. They did it while we waited. Thank you.
Unfortunately Lads customer service in this store is ridiculously rude. I bought a bike @ 5:30pm on my way home from this store for my daughters birthday and she didn't like it. Asked for exchange for another 1, very next day morning, just under 24hrs from the purchase and didn't even take it out from the car. Rudely refuse to exchange, I begged for exchange, one she wanted was even bit expensive, 2 lads very rudely said NO. Called Luton and Chadwell heath both stores accepted, even though it was from Chelmsford. And brilliant service from the lads in Chadwellheath store, exchange to what I wanted with no question. Gave another 5 star review to Chadwell heath. I would avoid this store for any cost, I do not want name the lads but most of the guys in the store are the same. If you want to by bike go to another Cycle King store.
Brilliant service, my bike was serviced quickly and at very short notice - I would highly recommend Steve he was very helpful and offered great advice. Wouldn’t go anywhere else.
Very efficient bike servicing, helpful and knowledgeable staff can't do enough for you. Witnessed a moving moment of a dad and teenage son picking up the boy's new very smart bike they'd setup in the shop for him. Great value and they have a great selection of accessories helmets, locks, lights, gloves etc. Also I bought and had kickstands fitted there not long ago. Saw lots of choice of kids' and adults' bikes in the shop. Thanks for your assistance Cycle King team!
Excellent service from the guys at Cycle King. Fitted a new bike lock for me which I bought from them yesterday, as I certainly couldn’t work it out! All done in less than 5 minutes. Thank you!

Absolutely fantastic customer service from Gemma today. I rang the day before to check on a seat post, and Gemma said she had them. She was extremely polite on the phone and very knowledgeable. When we arrived at the store the next day, she remembered me, which was lovely. She tried to alter a seat post for me but sadly this did not work, but I have since ordered a post that she recommended, and has offered to put this on when it arrives. The one thing I was really grateful for was that she tightened my old post to get me through until the new one arrives. It is extremely rare to find customer service like this, Gemma's knowledge and fantastic customer service made this a great shopping experience, I will definitely go back and will highly recommend to family and friends . A great asset to the company. Thank you Gemma,
