Really enjoyed sitting here in the morning having a coffee with a breakfast wrap. Nice Cosy vibrant atmosphere I felt. Came here mainly to try the coffee and if you are into good coffee this is a great option..I just take mine americano style and it's a very smooth deep roasted coffee, so try it if you like strong roasts. I ordered a breakfast wrap too.. and even that as simple as it sounds was done well.
Coffee is lovely Quite strong so you don't have to pay for an extra shot! Wanted a croissant before travelling to work, but there was none prepared. Rather warm and stuffy inside too! The premises do feel a little grubby and could do with a deep clean
First visit here. We were looking for coffee beans and my usual place was shut. This was recommended by a friend. We ended up having a spot of breakfast too which was really tasty and the coffee was great too. The decor is good, lots of varied seating, i noticed an old coach seat bolted to the floor at one table. Dogs are welcome which is always a sign of good owners. Will definitely return.
Found this Cafe while walking to the Metro. Cozy atmosphere and the staff are friendly and welcoming. Their Flat White is by far the best I have tried in Newcastle so far.
Decided to try this Coffee shop as i took a break walking from St Mary's lighthouse to Tynemouth. Delicious Cappuccino and Cheese/ Ham Toastie, was going to try something else. But didn't want to hold up the queue trying to decide, and also then trying to find a seat and then table number. ..i did get a seat/table tick.. This is where i deduct a star I didnt like Table 16, its a sort of, "Oh where do we put this table? ". "Lets stick it here" . Especially with the metal seat from Window table in the way, you cant move the chair . Its on a slight slope.. Squashed in. And i could only face, the guy making coffee . Also couldnt help seeing the Slightly grubby/untidy near the fireplace /coat rack area. /bookcase Needs a clean and spruce up. . Not sure what can be done about the table. We shall see. I will go back though. Loved the Coffee and toastie. And everyhing else. Also try something else next time . A very popular and busy cafe..
We first ate her over 4 years ago on our first trip to the area - a tasty and satisfying breakfast with delicious coffee. I am happy to report our return visit last week did not disappoint in any way. I watched other customers being served sumptuous, generous portions of food and I am delighted to report my toastie was the same – fantastic. The coffee is still delicious and piping hot. A great return visit.
Always a nice place for a Saturday morning breakfast or brunch with the family. Food and coffee are top quality. Dog and kid friendly. But, always popular and busy so can be hard to get a table sometimes. Vegetarian options: Vege breakfast wrap is delicious. Kid-friendliness: Plenty of options for the kids and a welcoming environment
Very nice place to sit and eat. Though busy during our visit, the atmosphere is quiet enough to talk. Food is of very good quality for a reasonable price, and the presentation is very nice. The best coffee I've had in town. A shame they've stopped serving the breakfast wrap, I remember on my first visit that was very tasty. But overall I highly recommend Cullercoats Coffee to anyone.
This is by far the friendliest and best coffee shop in the area. The owner is an absolute delight of a gentleman and this really comes across in his passion for his business, product and customers. This also seems to trickle down to the staff, as they're friendly and helpful too. Years of going here, not one bad experience.
Nice interior, nice staff. Wait time for food was a little bit long but the food and drinks are both very nice. I thought the prices were great as well, in comparison to other coffee shops in the areas. Will be coming back
