My family and I have long been patrons of this coffee shop in the perfect position in Cullercoats all the year round. The premises has recently been extended, and gets very busy during high season, but is a great place to warm up on a cold winter's walk. Cakes and small sandwiches appear home made, and there is also a range of sweet options available (including ice cream/sundaes). The normal coffees and range of juices and soft drinks are available. Food quality is good. The staff are helpful enough but the level of attentiveness has declined recently. Still a good place to visit.

Went for Sunday breakfast Sat an age waiti g for service, then went to counter where bearded waiter stood at till, stood a while then asked him if I was the invisible man! Never even acknowledged the fact I was there! Left and went next door to Boatyard much better! Won't be going back !
