Ground in need of renovation, poor food options at half time with many items not available. Coming away with 3 points helped so thanks!!!!
Ground is what you'd expect for a league one side, nothing special basic seating/standing. The only positive about this place though is how easy it is to get to. Atmosphere very poor only time any noise was made was a goal. Very expensive for food and drink, not what I'd expect to see at lower league english side. There's premier league stadiums that are cheaper than this place. It was £23 for match ticket £3 extra to pay on the day, which I thought was a fair price as a lot of revenue is generated through ticket sales. All in all wouldn't return.
Not a bad stadium which has improved a lot over the years its mostly all seated apart from one stand behind the goal the Thwaites beer stand sandy lane stand with a capacity of just over 10,000
Classic old club. Good food and a great win tonight against Salford.
Bit of an old style ground, could do with a bit of tlc, pitch like a spud patch and we got tonked so have had better days although saying that the locals were quite friendly
Superb stadium,great playing surface and the best most helpful stewards ever.
Fantastic club, nice stadium,friendly fans. If you're at a loose end on a Saturday or Tuesday night, get down there!
Great family place to watch football..food is excellent.. especially the beef soup..big chunks of beef.. carrots and onions.. lovely!
I was lucky enough to attend a Hornets match as a guest of the match ball sponsor. The hospitality was great. We had a tour of the stadium, including the team dressing room, and a hearty home cooked meal. The people were all lovely and welcoming. I had a fantastic day. The Hornets won too, to put the cherry on top of it!
