Lovely food, best burger I’ve had in a while at a pub. Friendly and attentive staff and also very fair prices for the large portions you’re getting. Good selection of ales and beers as well so I will definitely be returning when I’m next around Hexham!

Had a great dinner. We stayed at the George Inn but we ate here. I would suggest making a reservation, but the manager was able to squeeze us in and in the end we were able to stay longer. Everything was delicious! A nice scotch and Gluten free dessert to end the day.
First visit to this Pub for a Sunday bike meet. The pub itself is very good and serves all the usual ales, beers and selection of food. There was a very good turn out of bikes and great crowd. Apparently the pub hold different events throughout the year ranging from bike days supercar days and classic days. All for like minded people. Definitely worth a visit if you get the chance.

Best Sunday dinner ! Ever! I got the beef out of this world and my other half got the steak and ale pie! Absolutely gorgeous! Lovely staff! Just wish I’d saved room for some dessert! There’s always next time tho. See you soon x
Lively little pub with appetizing pub food. Reservations suggested. The food was very good and nicely presented. Friendly, and very busy.
A laid back pub with top quality food and great beer. The Devils water, a dark beer was smooth and full of flavour. The steak and ale pie was rich and delicious in a light pastry. No wonder the pub was full when we left. I'll definitely visit when I'm travelling through in the future.
Lovely pub, very good range of real ale. Friendly staff, good atmosphere. Good pub food. Had fish and chips, good portions, lovely handcut chips. Parking available out the front of pub, even had room for a tank!
We visited in a Saturday lunchtime during a weekend away. It had a friendly and welcoming atmosphere with a good selection of beers. There's a wide choice of food, all sensibly priced, and what we had was beautifully cooked and hot . We would definitely recommend the place and would like to visit regularly but we live 200 miles away.
