Had a great time here.  Caravan was lovely. Very clean and well fitted out.  Site was very tidy. Not a bit of rubbish anywhere.  Lovely and quiet too.  Staff were very friendly and helpful. Can't say anything about pubs etc as we didn't visit them.  Recommended!

This resort was not as good as some of the other ones unfortunately, the staff are not the most helpful and at times looked like they would rather be somewhere else. We went swimming but only got ten minutes in due to the cue taking up all our time in the pool. The setting of the resort is beautiful and has the potential to be a fantastic place but it needs some work to be up to scratch. However if you drive out for the day there are some lovely places around.

For such a large park it has a tiny entertainment venue. Most people left standing to watch the shows. Small swimming pool,, small arcades, small shop. And by the looks could do with fixing up. There is a beach close by which is lovely, if you don't mind steps down. There is activities to book. Caravan we had was clean, spacious and easy to get to.

Stayed for 3 nights in September. Caravan was accessible and was fine. The whole park had a smell of sewage constantly. Toilets constantly were out of toilet roll and cubicles floors were soaking all the time. Staff were very friendly and worked hard.

Just spent a week at crimdon dene and il start with the good. The caravan was spotless, absolutely beautiful had everything we needed. Even had a sea view with veranda.We stayed in caravan 46 horizon Park. It was away from all entertainment so lovely and peaceful in the evening. The not so good. We found the size of the entertainment complex, swimming pool, restaurant and laundrette was far to small to the size of the park. Are caravan didn't have a washing machine so we done are laundry on site at the laundrette which only provided 2 washing machine and 2 tumble dryer which 1 tumble was broken. The young man in reception was so nice and polite to us. Unfortunately we won't be staying at this park again but definitely booking with parkdean again.

Awful place please don’t waste your money coming here, other Parksean resorts are SO much better, I hired a private caravan which was ok but very dated, it’s like stepping back to the 80’s coming to this park and everything looks so dilapidated, from the entertainment complex which was tiny to the restaurant/pub which you couldn’t sit at any of the tables as they were covered in dirty plates and glasses that hadn’t been collected. Toilets which had seats hanging off….absolutely depressing place. I stayed one night and left following day to book into the Travelodge in Newcastle! Don’t waste your hard earned cash coming here, the entrance as you drive up to it sums up the whole place, an old boarded up building and a load of graffiti…..

Fridge freezer compartment was full of ice. Could have been better close to main complexes as we have a wheelchair. Other than that we hade a good time. Food was good ,a but on the dear side.

Absolutely disgraceful weekend . The entertainment venue couldn’t cope with the volume of people , dozens upon dozens of families queuing for hours in the rain, only to be told sorry were full up ! ..tried to get into the restaurant out of the rain but no seats at all , Why advertise and take money for entertainment when you cannot guarantee or provide this ..? Absolute shambles , either build a bigger venue or stop changing people for something you simply cannot provide .

Thank you so much for the weekend we have just departed from!!    Was a great spacious caravan with all amenities, heating and hot water!! The clubhouse was very lively and the kids loved the park The launderette was out of order, which is the only issue I had.. and I am sorry I didn't realise the clear bag was for used sheets I used it for recycling   But we will be back! And thank you for having us!! The ground is always clean and tidy!! And plenty of security to help and assist if needed xx

Caravan was nice but could definitely do with a good clean. Staff where rude and looked down at you most of the time. The pool was freezing and the changing rooms where disgusting smelt of urine had to bin my towel after using. Over priced food. The shop be cheaper driving back to Scotland for essentials than buying out of it. Entertainment venue was disgusting sticky tables don’t think they have seen a cloth in months. Chairs where tired some broken and ripped. Curtains hanging off. Issues with very leaky tap in caravan kitchen. Gas stove had limited hobs to actually use. Decking was very unsafe was scared to even touch it.
