Brilliant beach, need a hike to get down and up from it. Would be hard for disabled  people to us as there is a vert deep step at the end of each path.

Nice beach, missing many facilities, not safe to leave your personal things and go for a swim or a walk.

Virtually got the beach to yourself in October, great for walking the dog

Decent views and now there's a lovely little Cafe set atop the hill. Will be a decent spot in decent weather.

This place is quite a good place to come during the summer months just for a nice relaxing walk along the dunes and beach also great place for dog walkers, runners and horse riding.  Plenty of nature around and not just a beec to walk through but also a dene. Cheap and easy few hours out only spoiled by dog mess just pick it up!

Since moving to Durham and finding this place it's become our most visited and loved area, beautiful walks, easy parking,  and one of the best friendliest cafe around with beautiful views

Plenty of space, even during the summer holidays. Good surface. Great access to the beach. Food and ice cream van in attendance.

Ideal place to get to the beach, no parking charge. Be careful with the speed bumps, go really slow over them. A new cafe has just opened up, haven’t been yet. A lovely beach for a walk with your dog, a day out with your family for the little ones to play in the sand.

Since our visit before Lockdown we were very Impressed to see a lovrmy cafe was there. This was very welcome.love to walk along the coastal walk.

Packed on Public Holidays if weather good! Grass areas now fenced off to prevent overflow.
