Tweddle Children's Animal Farm

Story

A children’s farm and petting centre located on the North East coast in between Peterlee and Hartlepool. The farm has lots of friendly animals to meet and lots of hands-on opportunities such as bottle feeding and bunny cuddling. There are also lots of other activities on the farm such as indoor and outdoor play areas, indoor and outdoor pedal go kart tracks, crazy golf, indoor sand pit, and loads more.
Enjoy a snack in our tea room, browse in our gift shop or enjoy a picnic in one of our indoor or outdoor picnic areas.
You can also take a ride on our tractor and trailer or have a ride on our barrel train.
Why not visit our fabulous Santa’s Grotto and Winter Wonderland at Christmas time!!

Fantastic day!! Whilst the weather certainly helped, friendly staff and a great setup, mixed with indoor sections and a lovely farm trail! Great value for money, would definitely return! Great day out for little ones!!

Not sure why the reviews arnt all 5 * just took my 3 kids here for the afternoon and had a brilliant time. Toilets were immaculate loads of animals to see play barn is great fun. Didn't have food but Tea rooms looked reasonable. I had a half price voucher but would happily pay full price.

Great place to take your kids and they can get the chance to feed the animals and listen to talks about some of them. There is a park and a cafe to go . Christmas here is absolutely great.

We all loved it the six of us.....i won a competition to name 2 hedgehogs and got put on the guest list for free entry...thank you Tewddle farm we all had a lovely day

Good little afternoon out. Wonderful grotto set up for the little ones. Lovely seeing the animals. Didn't get to pet any due to cold weather and most likely as all the staff were busy with the Santa's grotto. But overall a nice family afternoon seeing animals and Santa.
