OMG this cafe is amazing, stopped for coffee & Cake. All set up for Halloween, decorations brilliant. Staff very friendly & helpful. If you haven't visited you really need to & don't forget the little kids & big kids they will love it
Lovely park, plenty of open spaces and paths, kids playground, pond with ducks, cafe with great food . Dog-friendliness: Dog friendly park but must be on lead and out of children's play area.
Even on a damp February day this place is inviting. The children loved it and us adults appreciated the fantastic cafe with its friendly helpful staff. I suspect the park looks wonderful in spring/summer. If you haven't been give it a visit.

Firs time to the park didn't know that is close after 18.30 during winter. Wonderful place for a walk jogging beautiful landscape.
This is my favourite park in Hartlepool to spend time with my 3 year old. There is ducks to feed, and a huge green space to enjoy picnics or play sports upon. The two play areas are very good for children, both babies and bigger children separated off. The best part is the cafe though where you can enjoy a coffee and an ice cream, or plenty of other delicious refreshments. The park is well maintained and clean, and it's always fun for my child!
Beautiful place, calming, gorgeous floral displays in the beds. The cherry trees in blossom are sublime.
One of the nicer parts of Hartlepool. Features a pond with plenty of ducks, a fountain. I rember when the bandstand use to be open, but has closed down now due to vandalism. Would be great to see it reopen.

Could be a really lovely park if the council actually took more care with maintenance and the gardens. As it is it is scruffy and unkempt, but still a good dog walking area, and the park pond is a dirty mess, not helped by the Canada geese who badly foul the tarmac near the pond which nobody cleans.
