If I could give negative stars I would ! My wife is visually impaired and the receptionist told my wife that she has to use the app when she cannot see ! And then point blank refused to give an appointment for our children! This surgery is a complete liability from the jumped up receptionists to the doctors, who even think it's acceptable to patronise patients and call female patients Flower/Petal ect. They even admitted to not changing the bed liners between patients! Nice infection control! What next? Rinsing a speculum under the tap this surgery needs closing down ASAP!
I have had a difficult year, very unwell which turned out to be a large brain tumour, it was removed & I'm gradually recovering. By profession me & wife cancer nurses 70+yrs between us. The care & professionalism from the entire team has been exceptional. As NHS worker since 1986 I know exceptional care & this practice goes far beyond that.
There was a good system for ordering prescriptions, now you wait age’s in a queue,I have mental health issues and keep trying to use the online service.all iam doing is getting so stressed out. Why do theses people make like harder, just leave things a lone.
Just been this morning for my Covid booster vaccine. Absolutely brilliant organisation with lots of very friendly staff. My appointment was 9:35 and I was back at my car by 9:37!Thank you so much.....
Tried from 2 pm today to order repeat prescription by phone with no luck downloaded app which is a complete joke eventually did no idea if it’s gone through or not what was wrong the old system leave a message job sorted not happy if this is progress
Disgraceful very poor service needing an appointment and been told by receptionist my problem was not urgent enough. How dare they and she hung up absolutely appalling behaviour by the reception.Get this sorted Crawcook Medical Centre ASAP.
Absolutely horrendous care! 5 months our 2 year old has had a persistent cough, numerous calls to try and get a face to face appointment for somebody to listen to her chest, all resulting in "diagnosis over the phone" all WRONG diagnosis might I add. One doctor diagnosed croup... 4 days later the cough was unbearable... Trip to hospital who listened to us her parents and her chest... Surprise surprise it was in fact a chest infection!!! 2 weeks ago said cough gor progressively worse, resulting in prescribing an inhaler over the phone from a chat with 111 today they advised to go to the walk in centre for somebody to listen to her chest. What do you know.... Its bronchiolitis. Its scandalous that children in this surgery don't have priority to be seen. New gp surgery is absolutely on the horizon for us! It's just not good enough.
We've been with this practice a year now and I'm horrified by them tbh. I've lost count of the amount of times I've rang up for appointments for my daughter who is under 1 and the reception staff have spoken to me rudely and fobbed me off on the phone saying they don't think it's serious enough but will pass a message on to the doctor only to be called back by the doctor to come in straight away to be seen and on most of them occasions we've been sent straight on to hospital. Appears that the receptionist clearly think they know better when they don't. Also I've had to lie on some occasions to get an appointment because if I rang up and told them it was in relation to my mental health I would get pushed to the back of the queue and deemed not as important than someone with physical issues which is very concerning to be honest. Not surprised at the bad reviews at all.
Staff are good and doing there job but try getting an appointment of any kind is a joke.
Iam fed up with the failures in communication at this surgery. My husband is terminally ill and relies on immunosuppresant drugs to keep his disease under control. He needs a 3 monthly blood test to receive this medication. He attends RVI monthly for blood tests and we were told that he needn't attend surgery for 3 monthly test as the monthly test at hospital would cover this.Low and behold on ordering his meds they weren't issued as they had no blood results.Had to make an appointment, by which time meds had run out.My husband told health care assistant what RVI had said and she promptly looked on ICE programme to find results there.Don't the practice Pharmacists look at the data available to them when issuing prescriptions? This is not the first time this had happened .A trip to the surgery for us involves transporting a wheelchair and oxygen. Why don't people do their job properly!!!
