We had a great time staying at Cowkeeper's Cottage in December. Ben and Francesca are incredibly thoughtful and accommodating hosts. Ben took me on a day trip exploring the northern lakes on our bikes, the route was beautiful with breathtaking views around every corner. The cottage with its long driveway is a little piece of heaven, and the surrounding area is truly stunning with lots to do, including country walks, picturesque villages and cosy pubs. A true home from home experience and a hidden gem in the quieter northern lakes. We would love to return in the spring / summer.

What amazing hosts, accommodation and countryside! Took my wife for a weekend get away and couldn't have chosen a better place  - had a great time and thoroughly relaxed

Beautiful setting and great hospitality. The kids loved the freedom of the grounds and playing in the freah air. We are definitely planning to go back with friends.
