We went for Sunday lunch and were not disappointed! This is a beautiful venue, with very high standards of cleanliness. The service was very professional...Nice to see young people embracing their roles, clearly well trained and consistent. But the biggest compliments are to the chefs....our food was absolutely delicious, well presented and with a good choice on the menu!nWe will definitely be back! And, we might even stay as it was so peaceful and relaxed! Well done all!
If I could have given 6 stars for service I would have. The rooms are a bit dated but clean & comfortable.nFood was absolutely delicious & an amazing choice on the breakfast menu.nI wouldn't hesitate to recommend this hotel to family & friends. I am looking forward to a return visit.
Family member who stayed there on the night of his wedding day left at 4am due to very uncomfortable bed and room having no curtains. There was a massive amount of food left over, cold meats etc. and when asked where it was, they said they had disposed of it. They didn't even offer it to the families to take away. Would not recommend at all.
Great place. Stayed overnight in one of the rooms not attatched to the main house. Room was a bit dated but was clean and everything worked and had a great nights sleep. The main house is very nice in lovely grounds. Sheep and horses in adjacent fields.nDidnt eat there as we arrived late, but couple of ladies we spoke to said the food was great thank you ladies for the tequila rose.nThe staff were great. Very helpful and friendly and made us feel very welcome.nWill be going back as its a nice place for a reasonable price.
Went for the Sunday Roast dinner and it was fully booked. The way the dining area was laid out was perfect and nobody was crammed on top of each other. Food was good as was the service. Would definitely go back if up this way.
