What a lovely hidden gem! After having a bad experience with food in Sarchnar literally opposite found a hair in the food we just wanted to have some Shisha and tea. After reading all the reviews wish we had eaten here instead. It’s small but cosy and great if you’re looking to get away from all the busy crowded main restaurants.The service was friendly & they were so attentive. Prices were very reasonable and the Shisha was very good. It lasted a long time and was very smooth. I would definitely visit again and hopefully get to try their food too!
We had a wonderful experience at Darna restaurant. The waiter was very kind and served us so many delicious starters, we were full before even starting the mains! The mains were absolutely delicious too and I loved he mango juice I ordered. Really enjoyable experience and we were even served free tea and baklawa which was very nice of them since it was Eid. Thank you!!
We ordered the grilled baby chicken and lamb kofta with rice and chips. The rice was fresh and fluffy and the baby chicken was butterflied and grilled to perfection. All meals come with complimentary lentil soup and bread which is a great way to start a meal and the soup was flavourful and wholesome. Very clean restaurant with warm and friendly service staff. Great value for money and would highly recommend. I prefer Darna rather than the more busier Sarchnar across the road which serves similar food.
A lovely place for a decent meal in London. The food tastes really good, the chicken and the hummus are just perfect. It‘s not too crowded, which is quiet surprising considering the great food and the cheap prices. Everybody is welcome, a really cozy place.
Amazing authentic Iranian food at very reasonable prices. Their mint & lemon is so refreshing. We had, lentil soup to start with ffatoush which excited the taste buds. The staff helped explain the dishes and were so helpful. Will come again when we next visit London.Food: 5/5
Great food during our stay in London, I asked where is the dishes from and the waitress said Iraq. We ordered soups with breads, hummous and salad. It felt tasty and nutritious.
Recently refurbished and looks great! Shisha is very good and smokes for a while. Variety of flavours. Staff are extremely friendly & even remembered us from years ago! Great service. Karak tea is top notch and they put a candle underneath to keep it warm. Small heaters available on those very cold nights which is always a plus!! Great vibe & insta pic ready!!
