Was researching family history locations in London and couldn’t believe this place was right over the road. You sit at the side of the road and eat your choice of fish with salad and stuff. The freshness and quality is right there. Don’t expect any love from these people because this is street food at its best and they are there to get the job done rather than kiss your a***! If you like complaining to people who *pretend* to care then maybe this isn’t the place for you.
Enormous fresh seafood dish for around £10. All comes with rice, chips and salad. They have tables and chairs under a tent outside for those who want to eat-in. Wish they had fresh lemons! I had sole today. I think sea bass was better although it comes with bits of bones.
It’s a good fish street stall, good price but nothing over exuberant. The flavour and seasoning of the fish certainly could be stronger, I wouldn’t call it characteristic of Moroccan spices. It is good enough, if you want a meal to keep you going at a decent price. I do find the combination of rice and chips a bit heavy on the carbohydrates. The squid was well done but, unseasoned. Staff is good, could smoke a bit more and be warmer, but maybe it’s characteristic with the weather. Small seating area, kept well maintained. Busy enough.
Great spot to eat whilst out shopping in portobello market or Ladbroke Grove, located in Golborne road this hidden gem was a find. The food was remarkably very good, service excellent and most pleasing is the price. Comparably to all the restaurants around there you pay very fair price approx £7 that includes your main course, a drink, fries and rice together with some fresh salad. There’s no room for complaints, just suggest that getting a space can become a little tricky when you’re with a larger crowd, so a little patience would be good.
Don't come here if you're not used to Street food or a bit of chaos. If you can put up with that, they serve some delicious and fresh seafood at very good prices. It's outdoors and takeaway so prepare yourself! I had the sole and calamari. Both were great.
As a Moroccan this place takes me back home the fish is outstanding grilled right but also the rice is lovely and the salad is great I would recommend this place to anyone who knows of Moroccan street food by the sea the combination of flavours is greatFood: 5/5
Most definitely thee BEST grilled fish you'll get in London. For a real street market vibe bringing you the taste of Morroco at a nice price, Hassan got the sea food game on lock
Seabass lovely especially on good friday - it is authentic and fresh tasting and is no wonder why people enjoy coming here. Only hunch is that we waited for a good 20 maybe longer minutes on two occassions for them to run out of rice which in my opinion is all apart of the experience. Wasnt advised of this or pre warned or reimbursed. Half hearted chips should stay in their place in the early hours of a chicken shop not with a would be delish and wholesome meal. Salad tiny too and the few olives you may get have stones which i almost lost a tooth finding out over.
Exceptional. Best street food you can get. The variety is just right and price is perfect. Excellent service. Thank you.Food: 5/5
Hidden gem.. If you like fish you'll love this place. Great food, fish was very tasty but I loved the rice and his secret sauce served with the fish... Seriously they could bottle it and sell it. Beautiful prepared food and very friendly guys. Well done guys
