Arrived at the hotel not having booked but we're lucky enough to find one room still available. Stuart and his staff were super helpful and friendly, doing everything they could to make our stay a good experience. The food was first class and worth the visit alone!. Top hotel offering top service, would definitely highly recomend

At double the price of a bed and breakfast, we decided to treat ourselves to a night of luxury. I was initially disappointed by the lack of a bath, but then discovered that the shower was fantastic! The grounds and surrounding countryside are great for walking with beautiful views. The staff were friendly and helpful and the food was delicious, although the chef "Garry" seems to consider a casserole served with a piece of patsy as a pie. Overall, we ate delighted with our stay and would happily return.

We went to view the fairy garden with 2 kids and a dog and we all absolutely loved it! I've never seen anything quite like it. This is a little treasure hidden away and is well worth a visit!!

My Husband and I recently spent several days at the Coul House and were treated like royalty by everyone there.  Our room was spacious and lovely and the soaking tub with TV was heaven.  The view from our windows was of the  expansive back lawn, flower gardens and ancient trees.  The added treat was the big city dining experience.  The food was wonderful.
Thank you Stuart and Suzannah for a most memorable holiday.

Lovely location and relaxed atmosphere for afternoon tea with the children. The home made shortbread and tablet was really tasty.
