We were passing and found ourselves drawn in by how pretty it looked from outside, all the twinkling lights you could see through the windows. Inside it was just lovely, I loved the decor all the had painted detail was beautiful. It would be a lovely place to visit when the weather gets better, it has lots of outdoor seating in gorgeous grounds. Very enjoyable.
Our wedding evening reception was absolutely incredible, thanks to the amazing team at Cottiers. Erin and Eve were fantastic organizers—everything flowed seamlessly, and our guests had such a great time. A special shout-out to the bartender, who went above and beyond by helping the bride with a footwear change mid-disco! The energy, attention to detail, and the staff’s genuine care made our night unforgettable. We couldn’t be happier and highly recommend them for any event!
If you ever come to Glasgow you need to visit this place. Good prices and priceless service. Amazing building very romantic too
A warm welcome upon our entrance and staff are all very friendly. Food very good and, the bar was busy for a Thursday. Personally, I couldn't get the decor. Was it aged or made to look aged, was it relative in some way but for me it didn't do anything to say, welcome. The building is a former religious one but could easily be made brighter, lighter and more welcoming.
Came here for the night market and it was great! So many cute stalls and it was made even better by having a bar in the market.
I photographed an amazing wedding at Cottiers recently. It's definitely one of my favourite venues in Glasgow. It's a beautiful building in an awesome location. The staff are always super friendly and helpful. Highly recommended!
Food is okay but staff seem to have a lack of direction from managers or just not very coordinated. Beef burgers are regularly overcooked so always ask for them to be less so. They give you ketchup and mayo but it always takes 5 minutes after your food arrives and for some reason they only give you one even for 4 people.. Overall it's fine but dont expect great service.
Beautiful place, shame food standard did not match the venue. Had salmon pasta, which was swimming in fat.... and no, it was not a drissle of olive oil. Fish and chips were very average. Great macaroni cheese, flavoursome, and full of cheese. Pistachio affogato did not have pistachios. It's a pity
Great burger flame grilled outside as well as some good classics like Moules Frites. They are also super dog friendly
Beautiful venue. I attended as a wedding supplier and found the staff to be incredibly helpful and though it isn't very disabled friendly being a very old building the staff were always ready with a smile and an offer of assistance. It truly was a magical day for the wedding party and I'd verdant recommend for a wedding or visit the bar and restaurant. Food was absolutely delicious and not too pricey
