We've been three years in a row now. I usually get discounted tickets on Itison. Always entertaining. 2 years it was Shakespeare & last year it was Oscar Wilde. Just be aware it's outside & it tends to rain in the last 15 mins of the performance for some reason. They also shut the loos before it ends so if you need to go in the interval. Not allowed to take pictures during the performance.

Saw Madea tonight in Kibble Palace, loved it! The actress playing the lead blew my mind, she was outstanding. Supported by a good cast but honestly even when she wasn’t speaking I was watching Nicole Cooper - she stole the show! Well done.

My wife and I saw Medea last night and we were astounded by the cast and their performance. An hour and a half show felt like 15 minutes as we were swept away by the quality of the acting, their engagement with the audience and of course the story itself. The setting the botanics offers great acoustics and adds to the atmosphere. A great evening out.

Julius Caesar. It's taken me 69 and a big bit years to 'get' Shakespeare. Thank you BitB for opening that treasure chest to me. One wee stage in the middle of a park has taught me more than I'd ever have believed possible.

Don't need a big theatre or a large cast to deliver a quality and entertaining production. Very much enjoyed Much Ado About Nothing.

Where would Scottish theatre be without the Bard season hitting the Botanics every summer? A perfect company to work with, who produce knockout production after knockout production.
