The new refurbishment at McDonald's Belmont is absolutely amazing, the new touch screens are very helpful and the staff are helpful too. Food is able to be delivered to you which is definitely a plus. The only negative I give is, the touch screens are not that sensitive, meaning you have to hold your finger down for a second or two. But if this is improved, it would be five stars easily. EDIT: The food I ordered was delivered in a very reasonable amount of time, this is very good as they were very busy at the time I visited.

Can't knock the food 🍲 for what it is (thin burgers bit of letuce and marierose sauce, but for the future please update your closing times. After my partner having cravings I drove to your store ten past 11 but nope you was shut. So next time update your bloody meda sites on times. Not just me who was disappointed but a heavily pregnant woman and an unborn fetus. (yes evee the unborn has cravings) . . . . . . . . . . GET IT SORTED!!!

Picture the scene. It's 9 am on a Tuesday morning. The sun had decided to make an appearance and was shining so brightly I thought I would suffer permanently with retina damage. I made a decision to drive with my eyes closed to prevent the sun / retina damage that I have just mentioned. With my eyes now closed I soon realised that driving was a tad tricky and as the 2nd cyclist bounced off the bonnet of my car I dared to open my one eye. Throwing caution to the wind I drove to the nearest eating establishment. It was McDonald's. As I entered the car park I was moved to tears as I realised that the old pot holes had been filled in. In fact, unless I'm very much mistaken, the whole car park has been resurfaced. What a treat. Now with both eyes wide open I carefully piloted my car towards the drive through entrance. Dilemma. There is a choice of 2 ordering kiosks. 2 I tell you! I spent some time deciding which one to choose. The queue of cars behind me were tooting their horns, cheering me on if you will and I'm sure they all knew the dilemma of was facing. In the end I flipped a coin, heads I go to the right and tails to the left. I tossed the coin and as I tried to catch it the sun dazzled me and I missed the coin and down it fell, between the car seat and the centre console! I held my head back and screamed "NO!!" The folks in the now huge queue must have felt my pain and they all blasted their horns. Some of them were waving their support towards me. Some were only using a couple of fingers which I presume is a local thing meaning 'jolly hard luck old chap'. I decided to chance it and drove to the left hand side ordering kiosk. Another customer pulled up to the right one and must have confused me with someone else and he called to me. I realised he had me confused with someone else as my name isn't 'Kent'. Now, the voice that wafted to my ears from the kiosk was as clear as the driven snow and twice as delightful. The lovely voice asked me what I'd like to eat and so I spoke, slowly and clearly. I ordered a bacon roll, and I ordered it with ketchup. Boom! "Please drive round" came the voice again. Oh, my heart skipped a beat. A bit worrying really, I must get myself to the Dr's and get the old ticker checked out. It should keep skipping beats like this.....should it? Anyway, I did drive round. Some of the folks in the queue were still waving their encouragement to me, what a nice bunch of folks eh? The young lady took my payment for the bacon roll. She smiled and thanked me. I could tell that she would be telling her friends about this as soon as she had the chance. I then continued upon my journey to the next window. I was greeted by a smiley face and I too smiled. Not wanting to be outdone I doubled my smiling effort and leaned out of my car window and into the serving hatch, smiling as hard as I could. My food arrived and was handed to me in a really special way. It had been placed in a brown paper bag, folded over on the top with some paper napkins and my printed receipt on the top. Wow, this was something else. I thanked them and gave them one more giant smile. They too gave me the special local wave. I waved to them as I slowly drove away, heading towards the car park. After parking up which was a bit tricky as the drive through queue was still rather huge, I opened the paper sleeve that contained my bacon roll and my word. What a beauty. Tears welled in my eyes and I carefully released the roll from its papery cave. I gingerly lifted the top of the roll and my eyes could not believe what they saw. Now, I like my bacon to be a little crisp around the edges. This bacon looked as limp as 5 week old lettuce. I decided to eat it. Which I did by lifting the roll to my mouth and taking a bite, with my teeth and chewing. It tasted OK but lacked the crispness that I think I have already mentioned. The end.

2nd time here since reopening what disaster Long weight forgot a ice cream hot chocolate was cool water improved I don't think so only here for the grandchildren wontw be coming again
