I visited the Lake 86 Cotswold Water park back in June 2023, it was my first time kayaking. I went with a friend, we had already booked a time slot and double kayak boat. Both of us had no experience of what to do, but we figured out how to row. It was for an hour and we thoroughly enjoyed. It's busy and the lake is relatively small. Good for first times and since practice. Nice shops and place to eat and drink
First experience of paddle boarding was brilliant! Our instructor Luke showed us the ropes and was incredibly knowledgeable and helpful with advice not only on how to use the boards but also tips for buying one ourselves! It was very easy to book on their web site, they were great with my boys who had never Kayak before, my youngest had to share with me, being only 7yrs. Well priced and very good fun.
Large free grass carpark, porta-loos, coffee shop and his and hers changing rooms. Great staff and a short tutorial and life jackets. Kayaks, boards, rafts and swimming. Best to book first. Lovely hour spent on the water during a visit to my son & his family. Celebrating my youngest Grandaughter's 8th birthday, she had such a good time she wanted to do another hour!!
Great place to learn sup boarding. And the facility are great,,nice place to relax after to.. coffee shop also on site.. Just a great place.. Many thanks Steve
