We visited this restaurant on Sunday morning 11th January for breakfast to celebrate my birthday. When booking, my partner mentioned in the notes that it was a special occasion.nnThe restaurant is beautifully decorated, modern, elegant, and with a very pleasant, welcoming atmosphere. We were greeted politely by the front of house staff and were allowed to choose our table, which we appreciated. The restaurant was surprisingly quiet for a Sunday morning.nnUnfortunately, the service was slower than expected. Our drinks took quite a while to arrive, including water, and at one point we wondered if the order had been missed. Given how few people were there, we were expecting a quicker and smoother service.nnWe ordered an English breakfast and pancakes with mascarpone, kefir and berry compote. While the English breakfast was fine, the pancakes were disappointing: they were very dark underneath, quite hard, and difficult to cut, which made them less enjoyable than expected.nnOnce we asked for the bill, service became very quick and efficient, which was appreciated. However, overall we felt that the experience didn’t quite match the expectations set by the lovely setting and the price. We spent around £40, which didn’t feel fully justified.nnIt’s a nice-looking place, but sadly our breakfast didn’t live up to what we had hoped for on a special occasion.
We had a wonderful dining experience, made even more special by our waitress, Rebecca. From the moment we arrived, she was warm, friendly, and attentive. Nothing was too much trouble, and she consistently went above and beyond to ensure everything was perfect for us.nnRebecca’s excellent customer service, attention to detail, and genuine kindness really stood out. She checked in regularly, made great recommendations, and created such a welcoming atmosphere throughout our visit.nnIt’s rare to come across someone so dedicated to providing outstanding service, and Rebecca truly made our experience memorable. A huge thank you to her for making our visit so enjoyable. We will definitely be returning and hope to be served by her again!
First and last visit from us…nnVisited this place as me and my partner fancied a nice meal out in Putney so thought we would give the Coppa Club a go.nnWhen we sat down we had been prompted the table would be cleaned, this was not done until after 3 requests and a rough 20 minute wait.nnThe steak is over priced for what it is £35 something you could easily cook better at home. We had to request for a steak knife on many occasions and had a waitress spill a cocktail over our side dish. The peppercorn sauce was stone cold and got sent back which the waitress commented she heated it in a microwave again.nnWe did not have any interaction once the food had arrived to ask us how our meal was and noticed the people next to us had not either.nnPersonally I think if you wish to have this level of service and pay a fraction of the cost then pop to the wether spoons next door.
