nHad a wonderful experience at Dawat Restaurant! The food was absolutely delicious—fresh, flavorful, and perfectly cooked. Every dish we tried was full of authentic taste and clearly made with care.nA special shoutout to Salam Bhai, who made our visit even better with his warm hospitality and friendly attitude. He was attentive, polite, and made sure we were comfortable throughout the meal.nGreat food, great service, and a welcoming atmosphere. Highly recommend Dawar Restaurant, especially if you appreciate good food and genuine customer service!
- Right as we entered the restaurant, it felt very chaotic and overwhelming.nn- Menu was extensive, but we chose safe options such as the chicken charsi karahi and malai boti, both staple dishes in Pakistani cuisine.nn- The service was alright and food came at a good pace. However, the quality did not live up to the hype and the 4.6 rating that this restaurant holds.nn- Malai boti was utterly disappointing. Normally, it is quite a distinguishable dish however the presentation was all over the place kind of like they just threw it in a bowl and called it a day and it just felt like you were eating dry chicken pieces.nn- Charsi Chicken Karahi was average. For 1/2 kg, it was enough for 2 people. However, chicken was overcooked and there was no spice either.nn- We also ordered the garlic naan to pair it with the karahi and I’m not sure where they got their recipe from but garlic naan does not have VISIBLE garlic chunks on it. It is supposed to be naan brushed with garlic butter, not just garlic thrown onto the naan. I think they took the name too literally.nnOverall, do not get the malai boti. Otherwise, the customer service was alright but people don’t want to visit a restaurant for good service and subpar food. They have to match.
We came quite early, so wasn't too busy. We ordered Shahi Butter Chicken & Chicken Tikka Masala, with an iced latte & strawberry milkshake. The food arrived before the drinks! My drink looked & tasted more like a chocolate milkshake. The chicken tikka also was very spicy & had peppers, which wasn't mentioned on the menu. Both curries were nice, but not what was expected
The food was delicious and service was quick, reliable and customer friendly. All the staff were helpful and very supportive had a great memorable time. I had a lovely birthday.
Undoubtedly one of the best and most authentic Pakistani restaurants in London. The food was exceptional, full of rich, genuine flavours. A special thanks to Salam, who was amazing and incredibly patient, making the whole experience even better. Truly welcoming service and highly recommended.
