Unfriendly, Unhelpful and Condescending I asked my son to buy a heat lamp for our vivarium. The female shop keeper was rude and condescending to him rather than be helpful so we went to pets at home and gave them our custom. Pets at home were knowledgeable, friendly and treated us with respect. GO TO PETS AT HOME!

Under current (June 2017) management it has gone downhill fast. The aquatic sections in particular have suffered from whatever changes have taken place. Tanks are often unclean, numerous dead or dying fish, left over food, huge numbers of empty tanks. Fairly limited choice too. One of the members of staff is hugely overbearing as well, upon entering be immediately pounces and can't take hints to back off. Puts me off going back sometimes.
