I had a very bad experience in this Condor hire shop.  Mr. Rio Fielding the branch manager said to us the they are sold out when she heard we speak Foreign language - highly discriminative. Then she suggested that they have only one car. When we wanted to rent it she said that my EU driving license is in another language and she will not let me the car and I should go to a another place. In the end she was very unpleasant and asked me to leave her shop. I rented cars with the specific driving license in Australia, Malaysia, many countries in South and North Americas and almost all European countries including UK before. Overall a very bad and unpleasant experience.

Top class service. We visited Edinburgh in September 2019. I had forgotten to book a car and after trying a few other car rental companies we arrived at condor. The two ladies were very helpful and managed to get us a car even though we had no booking and at zero notice. Another big advantage was they accepted both debit and credit cards, which was great for us as i don't use a credit card. Highly recommend and would use again. Thanks.

Fantastic service.  The vans I hired were great and the staff were completely amazing, even when I had to change my booking and add on extra time at the last minute twice!  Everything was so easy and it took the stress out of my house move.  Thank you to everyone at Condor, I'll definitely be using you again myself and recommending you to all my friends!

Great place to rent a car and wonderful staff with a lot of patience, especially the manager Rio who was awesome. Even on a very busy day with helping multiple customers simultaneously, the staff were respectful and hard working. They got me an automatic which I needed and the vehicle was an upgrade with no additional charge.  While driving we nicked the alloy and there was a 75 pound charge but that seemed fair and again the staff were great and truly helpful. We'd rent again from here in the future!

Excellent customer service. I hired a transit van and from the initial call I made to enquire, through to me returning the hired van the process was very smooth. Van was great, I would definitely recommend this business to anyone looking for car/van hire in Edinburgh. Special shout out to Chloe who was friendly, and extremely helpful!

Very friendly staff at booking and return. The rental location is also convenient for city centre rentals, no need to travel to an airport or out of town location. I had an uneventful hire, no bumps or tickets and there were no issues when returning, just a quick look around with the sheet, a signature and then I was away.  The van rented was ideal for the job, and functioned as expected. The spare wheel was in the back and not fixed in any way which did take up a bit of space and you had to think about how to secure it in relation to whatever was being transported. There is no facilty to drop the vehicle out of hours and put a key in a key safe, but on the plus side the staff were okay with me dropping after they had arrived but before the official opening time.

Great price, good standard of vehicle and the staff were fantastic. We picked up the car late and had a mad dash to return it to not miss our flights. They were nothing but understanding and helpful. Would definitely recommend.

Good price for a bad time. The person in the office is really rude and not the best listener. We had a missunderstanding about the time to bring the car back and I was trying to talk to her, but she just interested in talk with the driver who was my friend who doesn't speak English, being really really rude. Even they said they will refund the money they take in first instance we had to wait over a month to have it back even telling us lies about the card machine, refunds never made... They insisted in having the reason even sending our bank statement. They trying to get money from every mistake you have.  We asked to bring the car back 5 minutes after they close the shop fair enough if they would have said no but they said yes. When we arrive it was close. I will never hire with them again. Unprofessional and rude until the end. I will not recommend it.

Quick and efficient service from the lady at the front desk and the lad on the lot, paperwork was sorted in 15min and everything well explained, vehicle check was thorough. The van I asked for was unavailable and I was upgraded to a transit for nothing extra. Great prices, efficient service, will absolutely use again.
