Pretty poor experience at this store when I went in to sell a couple of old game consoles and some games. As it was a Sunday, the store opened at 11:30 and I arrived only 5 minutes after it opened. I was served by someone I believe was called Luke, and his attitude was horrible. Rude, blunt, and spoke to me as if he wanted me to leave. I'd understand if he was a little short with me after a whole day's shift, but not 5 minutes after the store opened. His colleagues serving other customers seemed friendly enough, and I wish I had been served by them. If you can go to another store to sell your items, I'd recommend you do this instead.

Rollercoaster of an experience tbh. lad with skinhead & glasses gave me alot of attitude because I didn't walk through his precious spiral queuing system which had no one waiting in it. He then proceeded to stare at me weirdly when I was being served by his colleague. My main issue is the process of CEX however. I went in with a custom built gaming pc valued at purchase of £1300. Due to selling it 2nd hand and the business needing to make room for profit I was expecting at least £400. I find this quite rational. I was offered a whopping £184 for a custom gaming pc master built by Scan Computers not even a year old. Even the dude serving me couldn't believe how ridiculous the offer was! Staff even walking past whistling at my pc like it's a sports car because they can recognise value in a high value tech/gaming item. This price was confirmed by the corporate team where I had to stand to the side for 50 minutes in a lot of other customer's way just to receive. Your service is as tacky as your cringe maximalist branding, your staff deserve better and should be the individuals valuing the items.

I visit CeX often and the majority of the time the staff are friendly. The staff seem very knowledgeable about products which is good and if one staff member doesn't know they tend to ask their colleagues. Good customer service is practiced at this store.

Shocking service long ques standing there ages rude staff. Scam people out stuff and sell full price in store shops smells fat hairy men with dirty clothes on 20 years even mouth smells fags and BO won’t sell my stuff here again get next to nothing for o phone 12 was clean good condition and yet wanted me to pay for the lead 2.50 taken off the 185 supposed to get in end up with 181.50 because they took more money from me they test products and steal money from people avoid this place as had wait ages for my money and. I could got 200 at cash generator. Instead I give it them next to nothing after thought I was getting a bargain here not good enough this shop only out for themselves take advantage off stuggling people and families karma glib come for you horrible people who no empathy for others. One day u might struggle see how u feel I seen a single dad sell his kids games so he can provide food for his son and he got next to nothing sad horrible things this shop needs shutting down take off the disadvantage. Stugglng families sad people. Out there karma comes around for those who no empathy for others avoid this place I only went in to sell my phone to find my removable services shocking am definitely deleting my account here now shocking smelly shop stinks fat people who smell disgusting

Its pretty buzzy here . Got £10 for cracked screen note 10+ 5g ... Better to sell private but if you need quick cash then this is ur place

It's quite a small shop and not got much of a selection of games. Mostly just dvds/blurrays. Limited tech availability too, staff were nice enough but other cex stores have more to offer.

Find almost every phone on the market right now in decent condition and decent price ... yes, I would recommend

Lots of kit at very good prices, the odd dvd catches you out, Department S complete £28! however if you need an old classic check here first most are £1. Games machines everywhere at every price so you have a chance of your dream machine at a reasonable price. Check online they deliver and give you the price for buying selling or taking vouchers instead of cash. This could save you more money on your next purchase. Have a look around your cupboards it might be worth cash and some space!

Shocking customer service!! Took in an old PS4 with all sorts of accessories with it to be told the seal on the back on the console had been tampered with so they can’t take it, yet it’s hardly ever been used. Plus they didn’t even pass my powerlead back for the console dirty staff members!! Absolutely shocking service! If you’re thinking of selling your stuff don’t go to this store as they’ll try mug you off or rob your gear!!
