Recently refurbished with a handy cash machine (ATM) just outside the door and open from 7am to 10pm daily. This Co-op is a smarter version of a local convenience store selling all the essentials you would expect along with the expected higher prices than a supermarket for the privilege of being local and convenient. Admittedly this Co-op does have a larger and better range of fresh and frozen produce than you would normally be able to purchase from this type of shop and their selection of prepackaged sandwiches is excellent - I much prefer them to any of the others I've tried. For a convenience store I would expect a wider choice of magazines but they do stock all the national and local newspapers. This store has the option of paying at a checkout with a member of staff but this can often be time consuming as it's a busy shop and there are only 3 of these which are not always fully staffed. They also have self service checkouts but these only allow you to pay using a credit or debit card which is extremely frustrating if you are in a hurry and only have cash. On the subject of staff there appears to be a clear lack of them. The ones that are there are somewhat overworked and this definitely affects their customer service as none come across as friendly, they just always seem to be trying to get rid of you as quickly as possible.

Great choice of food here. Store is nicely laid out. Self service tills as well if your in a hurry

Always slow service and there are a couple of members of staff here that have moved around between other coop stores that should be removed from staff so that other with drive and passion change the outlook of this store. I think because of the location the store just presumes they are going to get a good footfall and don't need to bother to impress the customers by creating a good experience or even a hello at the till whist they are busy chatting to each other and pay no attention to the customers in front of them

Much like any other Co-op mini store. Limited range as you would expect in a small store but a good one. Prices aren't competitive.. Quite pricey in some things, good deals on other things.

Regularly ask me for ID even though I'm clearly in my in my 30's... Staff are either old women with a stick up their arse or grubby teenagers.
