I’m glad for the great selection of food they offer and the prices are amazing. However I don’t like being rushed! It’s not the cashiers fault it’s company policy. But it’s bad customer service. And the queues are sometimes ridiculous. Also if your have a customer service issue you can’t get through to the store directly. You have to ring a central number and go through copious amounts of options.
I’m also not racist as I have a mixed raced child. But most staff are of foreign decent and don’t understand you. You ask simple questions and they don’t understand.
For example I asked a worker the other day where the coleslaw was and she said. I don’t know and carried on doing what she was doing.

Really nice, organized, always clean.
Parking is big, always easy to park.
A lot of stock, good selection of food and great selection of Lidl discount products, stock being refilled continuously.
Alleys are big for three trolleys, no problem walking around.
"Bakery" for deep frozen bread is sometimes missing paper bags so one must use plastic bags which kill freshly baked products.
Tills are always occupied so you don't wait long. I prefer their self check out because I can arrange the food to my bags without being in hurry. Assistant is always around to help with the machines.
Very nice Lidl

Invited my family to an afternoon tea at the Jetty Harbor restaurant on 6th floor. We arrived early and were placed on a table away from the view, this was quickly rectified when we spoke to the waiter. The restaurant is modern and very airy with wonderful views. The tea was made with tea bags. Would have been nice to have option of tea leaves. The scones were lovely with plenty of jam and cream but the sandwiches had bread which was dry. The cakes were beautifully presented but would have been nice for everyone to have an equal number of cakes rather than having to share. A lovely afternoon out but have had better teas for the money.

The best Lidl in Southampton because it is big, well laid out and there is a lot of choice. However, they are let down by their constant stock issues and I have often seen some areas of the shelves completely empty. It's always the same stuff too :(

A good clean spacious shop. Large car park. Usually well stocked. Good prices and friendly staff at Woolston, Southampton.
