Edit: 7/9/24: Why are the cheapest markdowns hidden under more expensive? Almost got overcharged. Why aren't markdowns being done properly? I'm still seeing expired food sometimes!nnDon't usually have a problem but seems like date checking needs improving. 3 days past use by!! Bought one and didn't realise it was out of date until I was halfway through the bag. This was earlier today. nnCame back to ASDA after I finished work later in the evening and the out of date ready to eat sausages are still on shelf! Someone may be getting food poisoning from this! Guy on till handled my problem fine though and I decided to get a replacement rather than a refundnnCheck dates before you buy, people.

I visited this store this evening to do a big shop . Only for the self checkout machine to keep playing up every other other item I scanned .. was then told half way through I would have to move to a different checkout. All my items were heavy and I have back problems . Half way through that checkout starts playing up too . I walked out , sorry to staff but it shouldn't be that difficult to shop . There should be a checkout with a human if the self checkouts have weight limits as I was told by a member of staff .

You seriously need to ammend your prices for sweetner tablets . £5.90 at the til for a small pack of 300 asdas own when it says on the display 65p . I came in earlier today and was charged at the til £5.90 for a small pack , I refused.to pay that and when I said to the lady on the self checkout  tils how can that be and how can you justify that she just stayed silent and  gave them to a male staff and he checked it and said yeah £5.90  and walked off .. i am absolutely fuming . My nephew researched the prices and told me just now they are 65p . GET THIS SORTED !!!

Convenient and I generally enjoy shopping here, but this is the worst store ever for posting exciting reduced-price offers on the shelves but when you scan things though the self-service tills you still end up paying the old higher price.  E.g. right now all the Lindt chocolate has signs which say they're reduced from £2-75 to £2-15 - but go to a till and it'll still charge you £2-75.  This has been going on for two weeks now.  I'm retired and the days are long and empty and I have nothing better to do with my sad life than go in every day and buy a few bars and then have to wait in the self-service area while staff go off to confirm that I'm not lying about the reduced price - I tell them this has been going on for days and days, but nothing ever changes - I'll go in later today and I know it'll be a repeat performance.  I quite enjoy it.  I stay cheerful, and many employees enter into the spirit of the circus and are very nice.  But one or two are quite pompous and up themselves - they really seem to think they're important.  Dear god - they work for Asda - it's really nothing to shout about.

Good range of products, very convenient location and amazing team. I would have given 5 stars if inside coffee vending machine wasn't out of order thrice in a row. I'll revisit and may change my review based on next visit experience. The hallway shops collection is really handy though. The mall is often quite busy so expect queues on tills and even self check out terminals. Fresh fruits and vegetables are always available which is a great plus compared to other malls close by. Oh and roll on discount offers are irresistible.
