Treating my dog for kennel cough fobbed me off on Saturday evening as they were ready to close I was frantically asking for advice, lucky I contacted an out of hours vet as my gorgeous dog had parvo his been seriously poorly now thankfully for the care & support from Wilson’s at Bishop Auckland his in recovery . He was been with Clifton Lodge since he was a puppy yet every time I attend they asked me if his been registered elsewhere even thou I have his medical history with me and I would have thought it’s on their system , I telephoned them to ask them to pass his details on to Wilson’s vet they never had the decency to ask how he is and couldn’t complete a simple task of sharing his information, needless to say my little will not be seen by these again , I don’t normally leave negative reviews however in this case I feel it’s necessary.
I have all of my cats registered here. One passed a few months ago and they where very respectful and caring when I took her there for cremation. I got a very nice card with her collar and print.
Nicki a German shepherd was due her annual booster and kennel cough. We were greeted and quickly seen to excellent service. We get reminders monthly for Nicki’s Nexguard treatment and her 3 month repeat prescription so again excellent service many thanks
I recently brought my dog to Clifton Lodge Veterinary Practice and was fortunate enough to have Ella as our vet. From the moment we walked in, we were greeted with a warm and welcoming atmosphere. Ella and her team were incredibly professional and compassionate, putting both myself and my pet at ease during our visit.nnElla was highly knowledgeable and provided us with detailed information about my dog's health condition, explaining every step of the examination and the treatment plan. She was patient and kind in answering all of our questions, and we left feeling confident that we were in good hands.nnThe veterinary practice itself was clean and well-organized, with modern equipment and facilities. The staff were also very friendly and helpful.nnOverall, I highly recommend Clifton Lodge Veterinary Practice and Ella to any pet owner looking for high-quality, compassionate care for their furry friends. Thank you, Ella and the team, for taking such great care of my dog!
Clifton lodge you have excelled yourselves in lack of compassion and basic customer service!nOur dog was diagnosed with stomach cancer after continued vomiting.n4 weeks to the day off Dolly’s diagnosis she started to decline quite quickly so we made the difficult decision with our two children 19 & 15 through hours of tears to put her to sleep. Our children didn’t want to stay at home alone during this time so decided to come to the end of her journey together. We were told to come to the side entrance and ring to say we have arrived. The young lad from reception came to the door and said they would be 5 minutes as they were just waiting for a room. 45 minutes later we left. My husband went to reception to explain and the receptionist replied “your joking, your still waiting?” We have gave our girl the best life and the ending will be no different!! Standing in a cold alley for 45 minutes with your children crying is the most hurtful feeling I have ever felt…..nLike my husband said basically we are paying for private health care for our pets and today we didn’t even receive basic humane care!!nClifton lodge all your staff need training in basic customer service and compassion urgently!!!
