The staff is incredibly kind and always willing to help you find your next read or a gift for someone else! I email them or go in person to ask for recommendations, and they're always quick to respond and give fantastic suggestions based on what you're looking for. I always order from them rather than from Amazon support your local book shops!, as orders are ready to pick up the following day.

A small but interesting bookshop with a few nice selections, including some books on local history. There are some lovely cards as well. It's great to have a local bookshop, please shop here so it continues to thrive!

I recently visited a very nice bookstore and really appreciated the selection of books they suggested. I came across many interesting titles I am sure I would not have found otherwise. Highly recommended to visit if you reside in Chatham or are just passing nearby.

Cute little bookstore, emailed in advance to preorder a book and also ordered another in store as they didn't have it in stock and had a great experience both times. They text to tell you when the book is in stock and very quick and easy pickup

Very cute bookshop with interesting selection of well-chosen books in store. I was given good advice when looking for a book for a child's birthday. Best thing about it is that I can order any book from them, and they usually come pretty quickly. I can pick it up or have it posted. So I do this now, rather than use Amazon. Helps them, and helps me!

My absolute favourite place in Clapham and my favourite book shop. The owner is so friendly, warm and knowledgeable about books. He is always happy to order in books and keeps them safely tucked away until you can collect. I always try to collect promptly but recently took a good month to collect as I was away from the area - it was a highly in demand book Women Don't Owe You Pretty so I assumed rightfully so it would no longer be waiting for me as I had been so slow... but it was! He kept it all that time when he could have sold it to another customer. Will always come back to this shop. Amazing books, amazing owner. My happy place. Everyone should visit!

Cute, nice atmosphere. Small, but that doesn't matter much as I can spend hours here and I have. I really enjoy the books available as it's a unique and eclectic collection. From Swedish interior design to world history to quirky colouring books, there's something for everyone, even the kids.

Very nice bookstore - while they're working with limited space for stock, they've always been happy to order in things that I was looking for that weren't on their shelves. Staff are quite friendly and helpful.

It’s a small shop which means that they can’t stock a huge selection but what they do stock is fantastic. Well chosen books sold by a knowledgeable and interested staff. In the age of the impersonal internet so so worth supporting. Yes you’ll get what you want a few quid cheaper on Amazon but what you can’t do with Amazon is browse slowly and find an unexpected treasure that will keep you captivated for a few days. Support high street independents before they are forced out.
