Even during the lock down the Tate Museums do not fail to deliver. Although you are unable to go inside at this time, this holiday season they strung lights outside the building for an exhibit that displayed the words “remembering a brave new world”. Stop by on a walk to see the awesome sights!
Stunning gallery on the Thames with best collection of Turner paintings in the world. Don’t miss the divine William Blake watercolours either. If you love to photograph twisty, twirling staircases you’re in for a big treat too! Enjoy!
It you are near Tate Britain today, make sure you go and see the building beautifully illuminated for the festival of Diwali. It's stunning.
Covid closure. Went to see the outside lights by Chila Kumari Singh Burman - Remembering a Brave New World. Worth the look see.
Well organized and ready to handle visitors. Went to see a specific exhibit and it was great! Would have enjoyed more Rothco at the exhibit. However those that were part of the collection were large and impactful. Ophelia was a must see as well. Cheers!
The recent Turner exhibition was amazing. I would have been happier with a little better social distancing in the actual exhibition, but it was the last day before lockdown so it's understandable why there were more folks.
Steve McQueen's 'Portrait of London' exhibition is superb. The floor to ceiling, wall to wall, hall full, array of classroom photographs initially appears to be overwhelming. But as soon as you focus upon an individual photo it gives hope for the future. A cuppa of real leaf tea adds to the enjoyment
A wonderful art museum displaying works of art of a few collections and a diverse range of artists. It spans two floors and there's a cafe on the ground floor. It is comfortably well lit inside by a combination of ceiling and natural skylight from the wonderfully high ceilings.
Beautiful gallery. They had an amazing light installation for Diwali outside the building few weeks ago which was utterly stunning.
Fine Art <3 Lovely building. Comfort food served at their cafes and restaurants. Such a lovely brittish experience
