I’ve been on two city sightseeing tours, on in Liverpool and one in Rome and I’ve no fault for either. I found a city tour including the Beatles sites about half an hour before it was due to leave. I got to the spot and found the ticket seller and was still able to make the tour. I can’t say enough about our guide David and his side kick driver I’m sorry I forgot his name. Funny, insightful, great conversationalist with all tourists on the trip. Although the job must be monotonous he never once showed it. I really enjoyed this tour. Pricing is around average for hot tourist spots and is well worth it.

We took the city and Beatles blue tour today. What an amazing experience. Chris the tour guide was just amazing. You could tell he is passionate about Liverpool and its history. He has so much knowledge about the places we went to and the Beatles. He brought in humour, heart and soul to this tour.  We stopped at Penny Lane and Strawberry Fields. Chris was so caring and attentive to everyone. I can not praise him enough and he is a credit to City Sightseeing. The driver was also an absolute darling and the lads selling the tickets were polite, helpful and fun. Highly recommend this tour

Our group of four bought Concession tickets at a very good price of £6 each. We took the last tour of the day from Canada Wharf at 3.45. Excellent commentary which we could hear clearly. Lovely lady driver. Our tickets were valid for 24 hours so we took to the bus again the next day. Same lady driver. There had been a bad accident en route which meant most roads gridlocked. Instead of giving up she took us through many back doubles to ensure we did not have to walk too far! Cheerful the whole time in spite of dreadful congestion she was a delight. Thank you so much. A great tour around the city with many drop off points. We would use again

First time in Liverpool and decided to do a open bus tour with my family. I have to say this was worth every penny even though we came late and caught the last bus at 3:00 PM our tour guide was very kind and showed a genuine interest explaining the historical monuments and history behind the city. Had a fantastic time from beginning to end. It is actually shocking to see the rating were so low on Google. I literally went today February 9 2017 and I have to say it was amazing and would recommend all my friends to take this tour. Also tip your guide because to do that job in the freezing cold and do it with enthusiasm is really rare to find!!!

Initially the older woman attitudes was not very nice, barking for when I asked for a map and then ignoring me when I asked did I have to pay as I got the impression I had to with her reluctance to hand one over  Then Tommy the guide and his bus driver where so much better and reflected liverpool and the tour so much better  Highly enjoyable and informative tour with the bonus of seeing outside the city. We done the blue tour and got some great beatles music and facts

Went with overseas visitors today, 18/07/16, to Hanover Street to catch this sightseeing bus. Just missed the 2.06pm by the skin of our teeth, but with only 20 minutes to wait, no p[roblem. The next bus arrived almost exactly 1 hour later, and despite several of us putting out our hands to indicate that we wanted that bus, it sailed past without even slowing down! A mere 3 minutes later, along came another bus - totally empty of passengers - and also ignored the stop and the people waiting there., again passing without slowing down. What an absolute  let-down for us all., especially visitors to the City! Shame on you.

I'm afraid Jean Spooner's experience is typical.  People pay over the odds only to be rewarded with lousy service. Liverpool drivers don't seem to get tourism and no wonder the buses are empty. I'm afraid its the "can't be bothered" attitude that plagues taxi and bus services in the city. It obviously pays these companies to run empty buses.

Rip-off. We were promised a multilingual tour for the non-English-speakers in our group but the German commentary would always cut out mid-sentence, give wrong info or not even say anything at all while the English version did. When confronted about it, the driver Ryan wouldn't even apologise. If you're not fluent in English, do NOT go on this tour.

Baddest hop on hop off Tour ever ! The audioguide ended bevore all infos were told. Than there was music... nothing but music but no more infos. The driver says: "not my problem" We lost more than one hour and 50,-Pounds in this tour !!!
