Great way to see the city and pick out which parts you want to cram into your stay. The guides really know their stuff and give you their personal insights as well as their vast knowledge of the buildings and the history behind them. We booked for the Thursday and could still use the tickets Saturday morning. You can also use your tickets to get discounts on the ferry and in loads of the bars. Hop on hop off, get about and explore. I highly recommended way to get about.

We were in Liverpool for my my son's graduation at the weekend. My parents were with us and as we hadn't visited Liverpool before we decided to go on the City Explorer. My dad is unable to walk far so this was perfect for us to view the historical buildings etc around the city. The tour guide was hilarious and extremely knowledgeable. We were sat on the top deck at the back and it started raining and was rather windy. He gave us ponchos so we could remain where we were. He did offer for us to move down the front under shelter but we persevered and still enjoyed it as nothing could dampen our day   He made the experience fun and I would highly recommend this experience as it is good value for money too.

Great value, and very informative. Michael, our tour guide, was very knowledgeable,friendly and entertaining. This was our first visit to Liverpool and the bus tour was a fantastic introduction to a beautiful, vibrant and historic city. The ability to hop-on-hop-off was very useful and having the ticket valid for 48 hours makes it great value. We don't normally do bus tours but would highly recommend this one.

We went on the Beatles tour on a very wet and windy Monday with tour guide  Chris & driver Simon. Chris is very knowledgeable & made the tour fun. Despite the horrible weather a very enjoyable trip was had by all.

Absolutely brilliant! City Explorer Liverpool has hop-on-hop off stops at all the major sights which made navigating this city a complete breeze. A bus runs every 15 minutes and, what’s even better, the ticket covers 48 hours! We used it loads. Honestly, it is fantastic value for money. I have to compliment the staff who work on these buses, both the drivers and the guides. They could not have been more helpful, friendly or polite. The commentary from the guides is both informative and highly entertaining! I’m so pleased that I booked this - a fantastic find and a really enjoyable part of our city break.

This was a great way to get around the sights of Liverpool.  We hopped on and had four different Guides over the 2 days. Each one gave interesting commentary on the important sights and added their own bits of interesting information. The buses were on time and there was always plenty of room.  Much better to have human commentary rather than headphones. Good value for the 2 days.

We did the Beatles tour and had a great time. We could see more from Liverpool and got a lot of information about the town and especially from the Beatles

Fantastic tour yesterday 25th September 2023. 1st visit to Liverpool. Tour guide and driver were very friendly. Would recommend if you are into history to take a tour. Tickets last 24 hours so you can hop on and off! Lots learned about the city I never knew ! Also amazing architecture!

Brilliant bus tours! Nothing beats live commentary by knowledgeable guides.
