A collective review from Liverpool Together social group: Shiverpool was fantastic, tour guides were entertaining, it was hauntingly beautiful being educated about the famous landmarks and history of the city. With death there's history and it was fascinating. Would go again for another tour and around the other routes.
Absolutely LOVED our private Shiverpool tour. I have never been so engaged in ghost stories and gripped with every tale. I have also never laughed so hard and shall be requesting to be reimbursed for my botox for the laugh lines! Utterly incredible, absolutely no critiques! A must do on the Liverpool itinerary! Easy paths to walk, some inclines but a good pace. LOVED!! It's more a humour than a dark/scary tour, but a lot of fun! Actors handled the locals well too
1st time I've seen street theatre but these two chiller and Indiana are excellent, funny clear and informative. Would recommend this tour to any age. It wont disappoint, great hour and a half spent.
First time staying in Liverpool so thought what better way to learn a little bit about the darker history of the city than taking a tour with Shiverpool! We weren't disappointed. The 2 young men hosting were dramatic and engaging and so funny too. We met at The Philharmonic Dining Room and from there we were taken to cathedrals, graveyards and other eerie places to be told about ghosts, spooks and spectors haunting the areas, with some special effects along the way! There were stories to be told all along the route so it was entertaining and inclusive the whole time. We felt safe and looked after all with a touch of potential imminent danger too. I would recommend this event to family and friends and having done a similar tour in York, I will definitely look for others in different cities I visit.
Absolutely loved the Shiverpool tour. Guides went above and beyond to make it a fun and informative experience, my expectations were well and truly exceeded. I would 100% come back for another tour next time I'm in Liverpool and would definitely recommend it to others.
Fabulous! Very entertaining and so many interesting facts about local buildings and history. The hosts are fab, they play the parts brilliantly and are dressed to impress. Definitely do it you won’t regret it
MUST DO when visiting Liverpool. I absolutely loved the tour from beginning to end. The guides made us laugh, captured us with their fantastic story telling and even scare us a few times. I don’t want to say too much because l don’t want to ruin the surprises for you. But cannot recommend this enough. I am doing one of their other tours next week because l loved it so much!
We barely survived the Hope Street Tour , our guides were brilliant, very well informed and super funny. We are aware they are doing the tour every week, but they gave the impression they did it for the first time and only for us Would do exactly the same tour again! Should I ever return to Liverpool, I would surely do all the other tours as well.
What an amazing time! Fun, interesting, and fascinating stories in such a beautiful way of presenting them. We took a bunch of students on the Shiverpool Tour. It was fantastic and a great way to show the students Liverpool City. When organising the tour Lucy was extremely accommodating and could not have done any more to make everyone feel welcome! I would recommend this to anyone living in the city or coming to explore it.
