Went for 4DX and the place was amazing!! The tickets are definitely on the expensive side but with meerkat two for one is a good deal. The inside is great and lots of movie screens inside. The 4DX was great but our seats didn’t get any front spray so didn’t get the full experience but it was still great. The ice cream was great and the food choices was good too. Having some discounts for students or days will be even better.
I have been a black card holder for almost a decade now and wanted to treat my mum to Antman Quantumania in 4DX in Cheltenham, usually I am based in Gloucester, but they don't have a 4DX cinema. The app is now much easier to use, but I kept being told I was not in the right area to book my unlimited ticket, at £4.80 for the uplift. So I bought a normal one instead so I wouldn't loose the seat. My mum and I went to the Cheltenham cinema and they kindly refunded my ticket and let me book my unlimited one for £6.80, which is fine, but annoying I couldn't do it over the app! This is the second time we have gone to 4DX, both times the water function is not on. The first time was top gun, no water, now it was Quantumania, no water... OR movement! We knew this as there was a 4DX specific advert to show the different features and other than the wind around the head and legs, nothing happened. So my mum went and spoke to the team at the desk, she came back and you could feel the seats "activate" and then it was awesome! Still no water though! I love 4DX, it is expensive, but well worth the fun! Also.... The quantum universe smells amazing! Hopefully one day, they will have the water on
Watched the new black panther film in the 4dx with the vibrating seats. Not keen on the vibrating seats the gentle moving with the film but really could not match the more violent movements with the film, it just felt like random crazy movement, hard to stay in your seat at times. Going to give the vibrating seats a miss in the future. Nice clean cinema and toilets.
Spent over 10 quid for parking and turned up at the cinema - went to pay for tickets and it said there was no seat allocation even though we checked before and there was plenty of seats - went and asked and the projector was broken so it was cancelled There was nothing on the website about this so wasted money on parking for no reason
They don't have as many screens as other Cineworlds I have been to which restricts movie times somewhat but still overall a good experience
Went to the IMAX. Either the screen or the lens needs a clean. It would also be better if the 3D glasses collection box wasn't placed in front of the screen!
Our first visit to this particular Cineworld and it was a broadly positive one. Although we were bang on time for our screening, there was a queue in the lobby, but staff were all very calm and helpful and they had plenty of people on hand to deal with customers, as well as a couple of self-service check-in machines. The theatre itself was clean and comfortable, but the sound was a little bit quieter than we expect from a cinema experience. Elsewhere, the till area was well-staffed with everything seemingly running smoothly and efficiently. There's a pay and display NCP car park across the main road from the cinema, although it's quite expensive. We were lucky enough to find parking in a nearby side street, which is free all day Sunday and after 6pm the rest of the week.
Amazing for £21 all you can eat buffet, food was lovely, includes film and you can go and get as much popcorn drinks etc as you like whilst watching film, highly recommended
Everyone still talks during movies. Popcorn packets way too loud. So many interruptions. No security or warnings. It's getting worse and worse. Many movies have been ruined for me.
Went with kids in my wheelchair to watch Jurassic World Dominion. Staff couldn't do enough for us.
