This is a great cinema. Really friendly staff. The technology is high spec. I was watching The Whale and it felt like it was raining in real life as the surround sound was so good. They also only choose to show mostly “good” movies, which are hard to find in this day and age.
Great cinema and important that we support the local businesses where we can. It has a bar and it's friendly and welcoming. Love this touch! The downside to this gem is that the seats are a bit cramped. I am over 6ft and this wasn't ideal. It's not the end of the world, but it can get uncomfortable. The only other downside is the problem with parking if you are driving.
Really cosy arthouse cinema, comfortable seats and welcoming atmosphere. Small and intimate, it is a great venue to visit. And on a cold day outside it actually was warm which many cinemas are not. Thoroughly enjoyable experience. Price was reasonable too.
Always a nice place to hang out and watch a movie you might not see in the bigger cinemas
I went to see NOPE at this cinema and it was really good and cozy. It is possible to buy food before the movie. The price for a ticket ischeaper than elsewhere in Oxford.
Amazing cinema, shows great films, lovely staff. My favourite place.
Excellent broadcast live from New York of Cherubini's Medea - a killer of a role that Sondra Radvanovsky tackled magnificently. These live broadcasts always worth attending.
Easy booking. Pleasant staff to greet you, clean cinema and, comfy seats.
Went to see The Lighthouse here when I was struggling to find it elsewhere Odeon is not getting my money thanks!. The room I was in had a lovely old fashioned vibe to it, reminded me of going to the pictures as a kid in my local independant. The picture was good, the sound was good and the coffee was surprisingly good. The film was also brilliant, I can't stop thinking about it a week later! Glad that I was afforded the opportunity to see it on the big screen in comfort. Highly recommended.
Great, aymospheric cinema with helpful and friendly staff. Great to see the non-multiplex spirit being kept alive.
