Best fish and chips in the area, and such nice people who run it! Good value too!

Without doubt, the worst fish and chips I've ever had. The chips smelt odd and we quickly realised that the oil was very old. The fish was soggy and drenched in the disgusting oil. I think the positive reviews here must be fake - very disappointing.

Never had a problem before but after last night's fish and chips we were both violently ill- this being the only meal we had shared.

I wish I'd taken notice of what was probably the only genuine review here! There is something weird about the oil they're using, it's either very old and needs changing, or it's high in animal fats. The expensive chips tasted very odd and the sorry-looking battered fish was saturated with a strange taste. It felt very unhealthy and I may complain to the council because something just wasn't right - we had to throw the majority of the fish and chips away. Avoid!

Fabulous fish and chips, best in the area and always freshley cooked. I suspect Shelley who gave a minging review must run a rival chip shop!
