I attended the Elton John concert on Sunday. Elton John was obviously superb but I must congratulate the staff at SOL for organising the event.nIt seemed to run like a Rolex watch. The staff were efficient friendly and helpful which all added to the ambience. It must have been a Herculean task no pun intended - Elton’s middle name to lay the metal covers and put the seats out and then dismantle after one show.nDon’t think this goes unnoticed.nIt was a credit to the staff at SOL and the the city.nBest wishesnChris Riley
As a venue for away fans it’s really poor. Expensive seats and they put you as high and far away from the action as possible. I’ve been twice with Oxford but not going again. It’s a shame. The local economy could do with all the support it can get and I cannot be alone in thinking nah not a good enough offer.
Basic Metro station, plenty of parking, free on Sundays, but full of litter and looks messy
