Booked a table of 23 not a problem we all had different food of the menu and food was served to all off us around the same time very helpful polite staff
Me and my husband came for the festive menu 3 course tonight and it was beautiful we were met by an extremely helpful waiter who came to our table all throughout and was very quick efficient polite and made the experience really friendly and nice the pub was decorated lovely and cosy and the food was exceptional 10 out of 10 for freshness and quality great value had a top night
Had lunch today, the carvery was great and the guy serving name Luke was very helpful, friendly and professional. We saw him help an elderly customer and take his food to his table for him. I decided to have a take away for my uncle also, he has been here before and enjoyed the food.
Lovely food. Good range of vegetables and meat. Service was fast. Table service for desserts was a great idea as it meant I didn't have to leave my child at the table to order from the bar. Will definitely return
Not visited in a few months, however staff are still as warm and inviting as ever. Pizzas we ordered were delicious. Compliments to the chef. Will definitely return again and is a place we'll recommend to family and friends.
Had some food with family. Food was absolutely banging. I had the sharer wings meal and they were crispy and tasty *chefs kiss*. Special note to Sarah who served me and an absolute sweetheart. We all had a great time so will be coming again soon!
I come every Sunday morning with my young son after football. The staff and food are brilliant but recently they've moved the hot drinks to the bar and now If I can't get a refill due to not wanting to leave my child un attended where before I could pick a table always in view of the carvery and drinks. Such a shame that it's been taken away as its become a bit of a Sunday tradition to come to this pub.
Food was ok to good. Seating position was a 1 star as it’s in the windows with the sun streaming straight at the table. Too hot and no curtains or blinds for shade. Staff were very friendly and helpful. 5stars for the staff. Thanks
Booked our Christmas dinner online easily. Arrived at the pub early as requested. Met by very friendly staff and escorted to our table where a Christmas card in my name was visible. The table was well laid out with crackers and all the cutlery required for a 3 course meal. The starters arrived and I have to say that the portions were more than I expected. My salmon consisted of multiple layers together with a good quantity of prawns and lashings of seafood sauce. My wife's melon medley with Parma ham was just as generous. We had opted for the Christmas carvery and once again the meat portions were exceptional. Usual vegetable selection plus roasted parsnips, sprouts and, the best yet, a dish of fresh pork scratchings. I just managed to eat the Christmas pudding that followed but my wife left half of her apple pie which was enormous. She regretted that later. What impressed me most, other than the quality and quantity of food, was the organisation of the whole event. Charts were pinned up and various stations which somehow worked flawlessly. All in all, it was a marvelous experience. My wife said it was the best pub meal she has ever had. Obviously, I will be booking next years treat when the time arrives. Thanks to all the staff for making the meal truly enjoyable.
Life saver. No booking but we were quickly sorted with a table.. Me and two kids. I recommend to use app for orders as its speed up the ordering procedure a lot. Generous portions of fresh and gorgeous carvery Sunday menu me and my kids were stuffed. Delicious
